Princess by Kilian has always been my favorite, but this new flanker has left me disappointed. The opening is a shrill bergamot with bursts of green tea, and the ginger, which should be the star, is completely absent on my skin. The marshmallow is very subtle and only becomes slightly noticeable as it dries. It’s fresh, but so linear that anyone could have made it cheaper. The trail and longevity are well below average; for a niche house, I expected more. It only vaguely reminds me of the original once it dries. The sweetness is well-balanced, so it could work as unisex. Warning: test before buying. The quality-to-price ratio is terrible; it barely projects and lasts less than three hours. Sadly, it only works with layering. The only nice thing is the bottle.
