  Coconut powder, flowers, and vanilla for a matte, dry, and lovely scent. It starts like the Poudre de Riz from LaDurée candles, which is super rich and neutral, but here it’s a bit sweeter and cozier. It has that dry, powdery rice identity with a touch of vanilla, caramel, or maple sap that makes it approachable. It smells like a ballet dancer in her dressing room, dusting her face with powder before going on stage. It’s a scent that’s classic, vintage, and modern all at once. Although it’s not the same, the structure reminds me of Hypnotic Poison by Dior because all the notes are in a powdered version. Dressing in rice powder, putting on ballet flats, and letting the opera music play.

  I think my nose isn’t very refined because I smell it clean, slightly powdery, and super subtle. The longevity is minimal and the sillage is almost non-existent; no one notices it, and I have to reapply just to feel it. I was fooled by the olfactory test at Hunky Dory Laboratory, and it’s been disappointing. It sounds bad to me because they have good fragrances, but their advice knows nothing. I’ll keep buying from the ones I already know, but I won’t follow their recommendations, honestly. I hope you read this, realize the issue, and rethink how you advise on perfumes. A hug 🤗
