  • Poseidon Indómito is for attractive, elegant, and modern men. Citrus notes: starts with bergamot and orange, the heart is geranium, lavender, and ozone that give it masculinity, and it finishes with coumarina that adds depth. It’s a Dior Sauvage copy at a very good price.

  • Poseidon Indómito is the perfume for attractive, elegant, and modern men. Citrus notes start it off with bergamot and orange, followed by a heart of geranium, lavender, and ozone that gives it a masculine touch, and a base of coumarina that adds depth. It’s a copy of Dior Sauvage at a great price.

  • It’s a cheap but quality copy of Dior Sauvage. The best part is that on my skin, it lasts even longer than the original.

You can tell this is a higher-quality version of Dior Sauvage. It lasts longer, smells better, and is way cheaper. If you get the chance, buy it without hesitation.

  • For the price, you get a ‘battle-ready’ fragrance that looks quite premium with a scent similar to Dior Sauvage. It lasts quite a bit on skin, and the projection is moderate. It’s one of those that offers more than it’s worth. It’s pretty good in this price range, although there are better alternatives among the cheap ones.

Good day! I searched for this fragrance like crazy for its reviews and similarity to Sauvage, but since I’m from Mexico, it was hard to find. Finally, I found it for about 23 dollars, and I’m not lying: it’s the cheapest fragrance I’ve ever bought and smells 95% like Sauvage EDT. For the price, you get something for the whole season that smells great. The performance is tremendous: easily 8 hours. I left work at 7 AM, went to the gym, got home at 8 PM, and I can still smell it. I’ll definitely repurchase; since it’s 150ml, it’ll last me a while. The only downside is that if you’re not from Spain, it might be a bit hard to find.

  • What can I say? For the price, it’s spectacular. I have much more expensive perfumes, and this one takes the cake for compliments; family and friends always say I smell great. As for longevity? Brutal, over 12 hours, and I’m not exaggerating; I washed a T-shirt I wore it with, and it was still detectable. I’m thrilled, and in terms of value for money, it’s my top pick.

I was surprised by this fragrance. I tried it at a supermarket where you can smell all the brand’s scents for free, and the resemblance to Sauvage is incredible. For €13, you get 150ml. The longevity is pretty good; you can still smell it after several hours. I went back to the supermarket the next day just to buy it (well, I also grabbed some croissants, XD).

Surprised! I tested it at a supermarket where they offer free samples, and the similarity to Sauvage is incredible. For 13€, you get 150ml. • Sauvage clone. Longevity: 7/10, minimum 3-4 hours. Projection: 7/10, very good for the first hour then drops quickly. Versatility: 10/10, for all seasons. Scent: 10/10, rich Ambroxan. Overall: 9/10, quality perfume, very economical, with projection and longevity that could be better. It’s the closest clone to Sauvage I’ve tried. If it had better longevity and projection, it would be perfect.

  • Instituto Español makes perfumes that would make more than one designer blush. Indómito is fresh, versatile, and very long-lasting. It resembles Sauvage. Maybe it doesn’t have that monstrous projection of the 2015 Sauvage, but that’s why it’s more versatile. Perfect for everyday wear, the gym, or just grabbing some cookies. I compare it to Prada Luna Rossa Carbon: this one is fruitier, sweeter, and has that carbon touch, projecting a bit more. Prada is more serious and nocturnal; Indómito is more informal, clean, and aquatic. I doubt I’ll buy the Prada again, but Poseidon Indómito will stay in my collection.

  • I agree with the previous reviewer: this perfume from Instituto Español hardly needs to envy Sauvage (especially the current formula). It’s true the opening can be strong and unpleasant, but it passes quickly. Over time, it resembles Dior more, though it has a watery or shower gel touch that gives it personality and makes it more versatile. It’s synthetic, like most, and while many like it, it’s not natural. On my skin, it lasts over 8 hours, and on clothes, several days. Projects well, though the potent opening can be overwhelming; people can smell it 2-3 hours after application without issues if not over-sprayed. Scent and performance are acceptable, and the price is ridiculous (I got the case with 150ml EDT and after shave for 14€). It’s super versatile, ideal for daily use without worrying about the price or reapplying. Note: I bought the bottle at the end of 2016; I’ve heard longevity has dropped in recent versions, so I recommend testing it blind before buying, as it’s easily found at Carrefour. Cheers.

What a great buy! Sauvage improved for me, with a hint of old Azzaro Pour Homme thanks to the anise notes. I absolutely loved it, and for 10 euros, it’s an absolute steal.

  • Clean with a soapy touch, it starts with a sharp citrus blast that I didn’t quite like at first, but then it fades away to reveal lavender and a woody base. I detect a marine nuance that reminds me of Cool Water, though only there; the rest is different. The similarity to Sauvage is in the dry-down, but the opening is nothing like it. On my skin, it lasts 8 hours, projects about 1.5 meters for the first two hours, and then stays noticeable for quite a while.

  • Clean and slightly soapy. An unpleasant citrus hit at the start that fades quickly, leaving lavender and a woody touch. There’s a marine nuance that reminds me of Cool Water, but only there; the rest is different. The similarity to Sauvage lies in the dry-down, not the opening. Lasts 8 hours on skin, projecting 1.5 inches for the first two hours, but you can still detect it much later.

  • I read the reviews and bought a bottle at Carrefour on discount for €10. The opening doesn’t resemble Sauvage at all (I tested it). In fact, as @Eliezer says, it can be a bit unpleasant, something sour. After a few minutes, that ‘dirty’ smell minimizes (though it’s still there up close), and here it starts to resemble Sauvage, not bad. While Sauvage stays clean, like detergent, this one is more woody. I recommend testing on skin because on cardboard they seem more similar (drying down is similar), and the conclusion could lead to mistakes. It’s potent, use the atomizer carefully; more than two sprays give a headache. UPDATE: I used it more and it has a ‘dirty’ point that doesn’t attract me, it releases a sour smell. It’s not noticeable in the trail, but I do smell it. UPDATE II: It’s a copy of Sauvage Very Cool Spray. On my skin, practically indistinguishable. And I dislike them equally.

  • I tested this blind this morning, and a few minutes later, I got a familiar scent: it’s Dior Sauvage. I didn’t know it was a clone and was caught off guard by the similarity. Edit: I sprayed it at 1:00 PM, and now at 2:00 PM, I can smell it perfectly on my arm. Very long-lasting!

  • I read the reviews and bought one at Carrefour on sale for €10. The opening doesn’t resemble Sauvage at all. At first, it smells a bit sour or dirty, which minimizes over time, but if you get close, it’s still there. Later, it takes on a certain resemblance to Sauvage, which isn’t bad, but while Sauvage smells clean like detergent, this is more woody. I recommend testing it on skin because on the box they seem more similar (they are similar in the dry-down), but it can be misleading. It’s potent, so use the atomizer carefully; more than two sprays give me a headache. Overall: I’ve used it more and it definitely has a dirty note that doesn’t appeal to me. It smells sour up close, but not so much from a distance. Overall bis: It’s a clone of Sauvage Very Cool Spray. On my skin, they are practically identical, and I dislike them equally.

This is my second review of this Poseidón Indómito from Instituto Español. Let’s go step by step: it’s a Sauvage EDT clone, whoever says otherwise should look in the mirror. I have a bottle from 2015 and smelled it at the supermarket, so I bought it to keep the original Sauvage. The opening is powerful and generates compliments without doubt. Lasts 8-10 hours on skin, projects 2 meters with a trail for about 4 hours, then retreats but you’re always noticeable, and if you move, you leave a trail. It’s worth €12-13 for 150ml, and no one will tell you you’re not wearing Sauvage. By the way, it performs better than the current Sauvage and just as well as my 2015 batch. In Spain, you can find it at Carrefour and drugstores. Here’s a list of dups from this house: — Poseidon gold: One Million Paco Rabanne. — Poseidon gold ocean: One Million Lucky Paco Rabanne. — Poseidon sport: Invictus Paco Rabanne. — Poseidon man: Alien Man Thierry Mugler. — Poseidon the black: Black XS Paco Rabanne. — Aire de Sevilla essenza: Bost Bottle The Scent. — Poseidon Deep: Pure Xcess Paco Rabanne. — Agua de Sevilla Essenza: Hugo Boss The Scent.

  • I’m glad they’re releasing fragrances that replace other reformulated ones. Spending a fortune for poor performance isn’t the case with Poseidón Indómito. I bought it based on Fragrantica forum recommendations, and it works well as a room freshener. When I want that scent, my needs are met. The opening is very artificial, like a car air freshener, especially on skin. I spray it on curtains or in the room, and I notice the opening less. Soon comes the ambroxan, my drug. I know it’s overused, but I enjoy it. Longevity is acceptable: 1.5 hours projecting and about 5 hours lingering, which the original doesn’t do after two hours.

  • Sauvage EDT clone that’s worth it for the price and performance as a daily wear. Lasts 7-8 hours. The opening is alcoholic for about 15 minutes until it settles. Projects for 1.5 hours, then drops to a personal bubble until the last 2 hours on the skin. The only flaw is an initial note, maybe an unlisted ambroxan, that gives a ‘dirty’ smell (like old book pages) before disappearing to leave amber, woody, and mossy touches.

  • SantiagoJGdC

I bought it because they said it was a decent clone of Dior Sauvage. The truth is, it didn’t convince me at all (and I’ve tried it several times). It smells like cheap perfume for an older gentleman.

  • Sherlocked

It might resemble Sauvage, but only from a distance. At first, it smells bad, I don’t get it, but after 30 minutes it relaxes and smells good. In my case, the longevity and projection aren’t great. I like the Poseidón collection from Instituto Español; they’re fragrances for €12, perfect for daily use or sports, without spending on expensive perfumes. I wouldn’t buy it again, but for the price, you don’t lose anything by trying it.

  • Sauvage? Dylan Blue? I don’t know 🤔🤔. It smells very strong at first, a blast of citrus and ambroxan, but then it settles without losing that weird initial aroma. I like it more for what it costs, but if you’re looking for a Sauvage clone, you’ll probably find better options.

  • carloslainezd

If it’s a clone of Sauvage EDT, it reminds you of it a lot. It’s more synthetic, but for the price…

  • I tried it today and at first it smells terrible, like cheap cologne, but after half an hour it settles and changes completely. It’s a pretty decent clone and lasts five hours without any issues.

  • Darmody1917

It’s a clone of Sauvage EDT. It doesn’t hook me like others, and neither does the original. I was surprised that several young girls said it smelled great; that’s why some label it a ‘fuckboy’ fragrance. Not for me, but others find it smells like an old man, which happens with all Sauvage clones. I’ve heard more about this version than the original on the street. Like almost everything from Poseidón, if you’re interested, buy blind: the 150ml bottle costs no more than €15. If you’re young and broke, you can smell like Sauvage for very little.
