I don’t own the original Crivelli, so this is just my experience: it’s a complex scent, definitely try before you buy. The bottle shamelessly copies the original, with only the label and cap changed. The opening is a light alcohol burst that fades in 20 seconds, giving way to a blend of oud, leather, saffron, rose, and cardamomo. Slowly, a sweet woody note emerges, which I believe is nutmeg. After hours, the classic pink oud with osmanthus remains, softening the scent and adding floral notes until it mellowed out with patchouli. Overall, it evolves a lot and smells way more expensive than its $15 price tag. Oud lovers (who aren’t into the animalic side) might be surprised, as the oud isn’t aggressive here; it’s balanced by the other ingredients. I’d use it daily in cooler weather, but be careful with the spray count since the projection is intense, not just for show. Perfect for nights out and special occasions.
