Dr.No
Do unicorns exist? Did they? ➡ Oud Luwak: This fragrance features a woody oud paired with an intense coffee note, sitting atop a base of benzoin, vetiver, and wood. The oud-coffee combo completely dominates. It’s powerful, linear, and has a rough character, though if you enjoy potent perfumes, this is a great candidate. It could be one of the best coffee scents I’ve ever smelled; the oud makes it feel complete, unlike Kerosene’s Follow, which is just coffee, more coffee, and even more coffee. Getting your hands on it is nearly impossible, and if you do get the chance, it won’t be cheap. Areej Le Doré is an elitist niche brand, so you might laugh at Xerjoff and other houses advertising perfumes as “special” or “limited edition.” Often, even with money in hand, you can’t get them because the sold-out notice pops up quickly, sometimes on the same day. They should offer more availability. How? I’m good at criticizing and offering solutions. Limit to one bottle per customer, increase the initial batch size, and then release another run (like Bortnikoff does) so those of us who love this brand can actually enjoy it. Great perfume.
