  The notes listed here don’t match what it actually smells like. There’s a lot of wood and smoky tobacco, like a tobacco pouch, mixed with new shoe leather. In the background, saffron and musky amber appear occasionally. The longevity is huge, perfect for fall and winter.

  Smells like tobacco, specifically a light cigarette before it’s lit—that’s what defines its dry down. It has soft woods and patchouli that blend to create this tobacco vibe; the listed notes sometimes suggest something else, but the blend is what matters. It starts with leather before blending into the woods. Rose appears at the beginning but quickly gets lost in the mix. It’s masculine, warm, and perfect for winter. It doesn’t smell like cheap alcohol; everything is well-balanced. There’s nothing overly Arabic about it, making it accessible for those who like mature, characterful perfumery. It sits well on the skin with moderate projection, ideal for not being intrusive like a ‘beast mode’. They say it’s discontinued, but you can find it at a great price here. This house is more niche than Lattafa. Give it a try. *Not the Dior Private Line version, this isn’t an inspiration of that.

  Smells almost identical to Risala’s ‘Let’s Be Strong’ and Lattafa’s ‘Ameer Al Oudh Intense’. It’s a smoky, spicy, and heavily woody scent with a virile, masculine vibe. The oud note feels perfect, and hey, Risala’s version seems to be a direct copy of this one.
