Descripción
Or du Serail by Naomi Goodsir is an oriental fougère fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2014, this composition features the olfactory signature of Bertrand Duchaufour. The top notes unfold with mango, red berries, apple, and sweet orange; the heart reveals rum, coconut, yerba mate, ylang-ylang, hyssop, sage, and geranium; while the base notes close with honey, tobacco, beeswax, vanilla, amber, oak, labdanum, cedar, and musk.

Sweet and super pleasant; what I notice most is honey with fruits over wood, with a smoky and tobacco note well present. Others compare it to Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford, but it doesn’t smell the same to me; it reminds me more of Soir de Lune by Sisley for the honey and woods, mixed with Moonlight by Lilian for the tropical fruits. The longevity is good for an EDP, and contrary to appearances, the projection isn’t strong. It’s a friendly perfume, not a masterpiece, but it has its point. As for this specific one, I’m not sure if I’d buy it right now since I have others that fill its spot, but I’m eager to keep exploring the brand. A little treasure from this brand: warm fruity notes, tobacco, and smoke blended perfectly, lasts a long time, and its trail is powerful without being heavy. Clearly unisex, balanced, and priced so you won’t hesitate twice. The best part is that it’s unique; there’s nothing like it. I tried it in the discovery set, and it was the one that hit me the hardest. Just be careful if it’s very hot, because its density and embrace are best appreciated in moderate climates.
