Descripción
Never-ending Summer by Maison Martin Margiela is a citrus gourmand olfactory family creation, designed for men and women. Launched in 2025, this fragrance opens with a vibrant blend of bitter orange, Aperol, and pepper. Its heart reveals the elegance of Earl Grey tea accompanied by cardamom and nutmeg. The trail settles on vetiver, cedar, patchouli, Peru balsam, cashmere wood, and vanilla.

Summer, summer, and more summer. An Aperol spritz at sunset… It reminds me of Declaration by Cartier.
Summer, summer, and more summer. An Aperol spritz at sunset… It reminds me of Cartier Declaration.
Never-ending Summer by Maison Margiela is exactly what I’ve been looking for in a citrus summer scent, but with an unexpected twist that makes it truly special. It smells like vacation, freshness, and soft sunlight on the skin… without falling into typical citrus clichés. The star is a clean, luminous orange that’s neither cloying nor artificial. What really sets it apart is that slightly bitter note, almost like a well-chilled Aperol at sunset, giving it a sophisticated, grown-up edge. It’s fresh, yes, but also elegant and full of personality. A fragrance that conveys summer effortlessly, refreshing and enveloping without screaming for attention. I love it. It has earned a permanent spot in my collection for hot days.
Never-ending Summer by Maison Margiela is everything I look for in a summer citrus fragrance, but with an unexpected twist that makes it special. It smells like vacation, like freshness, like soft sun on the skin… but without resorting to the typical clichés of citrus perfumes. The star is a clean, luminous orange that doesn’t cloy or feel artificial. What really makes the difference is that slightly bitter touch, almost like a well-chilled Aperol at sunset, which gives it a sophisticated and adult nuance. It’s fresh, yes, but also elegant and with personality. A fragrance that conveys summer effortlessly, that refreshes and envelops without needing to shout. I love it. What freshness! What purity! What gratification! But I have a few pending issues with this product. Three or four years ago, I looked for freshness and a clean scent in perfumery and ended up buying Dior Homme Cologne. I came back happy, what a summer! What sophistication! I gifted it to my teenage son because in the long run, I felt it was a bit masculine… yesterday my same son arrived from Australia and brought this amazing replica… its opening is orangey, rich… But right there it started to mutate and became Dior Homme Cologne. Is that possible?! I couldn’t believe it, I told my son that Dior has copied the fragrance and what a shame it is for Dior to copy almost niche perfumes, how they underestimate their audience thinking we wouldn’t notice such a fraud. Very wise of me, I told my teenager: we’ll have to switch to this more sophisticated perfumery and they would never fall so low 🤦🏼♀️. I came to enjoy the many virtues of Never Ending Summer at Fragrantrica and saw it was released this year, 2025. But wait! It doesn’t add up! Let’s see, seriously, Maison Margiela (I’m not even bothering with the capital letters for their name) copied Dior Homme Cologne? Seriously, I was prattling on like an expert in the matter to my son and he spent who knows how many dollars on a Dior copy. I can’t believe it, I still don’t quite get it… now, how do I go back and admit I was an idiot to my son? I’m never going to forgive Réplica for this, they’ve proven it, they’re a replica (I’ll tell you later if the perfume lasts longer than Dior’s… so far it seems like it does 🫤). Sending you a kiss and you know: if you want to spend a lot, buy the Dior replica, and if you want to spend less but wear the original, buy the Dior one 😘😘😘 no problem.

Sniffed it on the fly and couldn’t stop talking: the orange accord is brutal. In most perfumes with this profile, orange smells like Fanta, Tropicana, or in the worst case, Frenadol; here, not at all, it’s very well done. Even though it’s autumn and I’m tempted to try other things, I’ll keep testing it because of how attractive it was. If I like it as much as that first impression, it smells like it will be my signature for summer 2026.
Sniffed it on the go and couldn’t stop talking: the orange accord is brutal. In most perfumes with this profile, orange smells like Fanta, Trina, or in the worst case, Frenadol; here, it’s masterfully done. Even though it’s autumn and I’m tempted to try other things, I’ll keep testing it because of how attractive it’s been. If I still love it as much as that first impression, it smells like it will be my signature scent for summer 2026.
