Descripción

Nature Insolente by Maison Matine is a citrus fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2021, this olfactory composition was created by Philippine Courtière. Its top notes of orange, lemon, and bergamot unfold a vibrant and acidic opening. The heart reveals a refreshing blend of melon, mint, lily of the valley, and honey, adding sweetness and freshness. To finish, the base notes of vetiver, musk, and cedar provide a woody and sensual foundation that lingers on the skin.

Nature Insolente by Maison Matiné radiates joy and vitality. Potent citrus notes at the top, followed minutes later by mint and melon. Fresh and energizing from the start to the dry down, clean and musky. Lasts about 5 hours with moderate sillage and projection. Ideal for spring/summer, at a competitive price with a touch of originality. Totally unisex.

Nature Insolente by Maison Matiné is pure joy and vitality. It kicks off with powerful citrus notes, then mint and melon give it a real boost. Fresh and energizing from the first spray to the very end, clean and musky. It lasts about 5 hours with moderate sillage and projection. Perfect for spring and summer, very competitively priced, and with a nice original twist. Totally unisex.

  • A verdant freshness that gives you energy and almost feels like you can chew it. The fruit-mint combo is perfect for injecting life and fresh air into any scent. It’s a living nature, a burst of energy and happiness. Like a mint gum that clears your head and revitalizes you.

  • Invigorating green freshness you can almost chew. Fruit and mint combined to give vitality and a fresh breeze. A scent of living nature, a shot of energy and joy. Like a mint gum that revives you.

  • Super citrusy and incredibly realistic fragrance. It’s fresh and reminds me of a mojito. Perfect for summer!

  • Another happy impression from Maison Matiné. So cheerful and simple. It brings nostalgic memories, but not sad ones. At first and in the heart notes, it takes me straight back to my childhood in the nineties: going down to my grandmother’s patio at dawn to smell that green freshness of freshly watered plants. And just kidding, it also reminds me of Three Kings Day in ’94 when I got The Lion King perfume by Air-Val, that little round bottle with a sun-shaped cap. It was a kids’ cologne, but it had more mystery than it seemed: astringent, cheerful, and deep. Nature Insolente brings those memories back with its soft honey and melon: a subtle Matisse melon and elegant honey, nothing heavy like molasses. The balance is perfect. Even through some chemical magic, it smells like an unlisted fig tree, evoking summer and the Mediterranean. It’s a friendly perfume that puts you in a good mood at the first spray. It fades over time, but with reapplication, you recover the magic. Just like in love.

At first, it reminds me of my childhood in the 90s: the greenery of watered plants in my grandma’s yard and the Lion King perfume my aunt gave me. It was a kids’ cologne but mysterious, cheerful, and deep. Nature Insolente brings back those memories with soft honey and melon, nothing cloying. The balance is perfect; it even smells like an unlisted fig, straight from Mediterranean summer. It’s a friendly perfume that puts you in a good mood. Tested with the Discovery Set and bought in 15ml. My top pick from the house after Into the Wild and Tu te calmes. Fresh and citrus-sweet aroma, dominated by melon, lily, and mint, which blend into a soapy sensation. Pleasant, though with too many sprays it can get cloying. Friendly, perfect for daytime, best in spring/summer. Discrete projection but acceptable longevity, around 6 hours. It has originality; I recommend trying it first (in Madrid, testers are available at Farmacia Goya 19). Unisex.

Tested with the little one from the Discovery Set and bought later in 15ml. My top pick from the house after Into the Wild (more green and potent) and Tu te calmes (more feminine). A fresh, citrusy-sweet aroma where melon, valley lily, and a hint of mint take the lead, turning musky at the end with a really nice soapy feel. Pleasant, though if you apply too many sprays, the melon can get cloying, so less is more. Charming, easy to wear and enjoy. Great for daytime, especially in spring and summer. Projection is discreet but longevity is very acceptable, averaging about 6 hours, which is great. It has a certain originality; I recommend trying it first alongside other scents from the brand (in Madrid, there are several testers at the pharmacy on Calle Goya #19). Unisex. Cheers.

So hard to decide when a perfume smells great but fails on longevity. The aroma is fantastic: melon, mint, and orange, playful and fresh. Minutes pass, the melon fades, and a subtle, elegant valley lily emerges. But after half an hour, I can barely detect it; only the lily stays close to the skin with a very soft woody base. After two hours, nothing. My skin isn’t great for longevity, but two hours… If it were niche at 4-5€ per ml, I wouldn’t buy it, but the price is good and allows painless reapplication. Still thinking about it. Sold as Eau de parfum but lasts like a cologne. Aroma: 9, Longevity: 4, Sillage: 4, Versatility: 5, Originality: 8, Overall: 7.

  • Psicostasis

Maison Matine does correct and adorable things, sometimes boring. This fragrance, ‘Nature Insolente,’ has nothing insolent about it. It’s a blender refreshment whose only crazy part is that they accidentally slipped in two streaks of pulp.

  • At first, I thought what many say: smells super good but the trail is weak. But as the day went on, my own scent kicked in; it projected more than expected. It lasted 4-5 hours. Not my ideal projection, but the scent is rich, on par with my favorite, Versace Versense.

  • Elenperfume

I’m not a citrus fan, but this isn’t a case. At first, it smells like lemon and orange, almost bitter like zest. Then comes the valley lily and a barely perceptible woody base. It leans a bit masculine; I wouldn’t add it to my collection.

  • Top note is pure freshly peeled tangerine juice, it even quenches your thirst. Then it turns slightly woody, and poof—it disappears. Smells great, but the longevity is weak.
