About Milky Oud
Jupilò’s Milky Oud Is the Creamy, Spicy Oud You Didn’t Expect
Milky Oud, the new fragrance from Jupilò, launches in 2026 as a bold but comforting unisex scent. It blends the deep, woody richness of oud with a soft, milky smoothness that makes it feel almost plush.
Right out of the bottle, the fragrance starts with bright spices. Then it settles into a creamy heart of milk, cypriol, and precious woods, finished by a warm, amber-vanilla base with a gourmand twist.
The opening is a quick burst of coriander, nutmeg, and saffron. The spices add instant warmth and a subtle kick, but they’re not sharp or overwhelming. Instead, they ease you into the deeper layers.
At the heart, cypriol (also known as nagarmota) contributes a leathery, earthy note. Milk softens that edge, creating a texture similar to a creamy sandalwood blend. Australian sandalwood and oud wood give the composition its woody backbone without making it too dark or smoky.
Base notes of labdanum, caramel, Madagascan vanilla, and Ambrofix™ build a rich, powdery finish. The caramel is definitely present, but it stays in check, so the sweetness feels elegant rather than dessert-like.
Milky Oud is a woody-sweet, warm-spicy fragrance with an ambery, lactonic character. The powdery and aromatic undertones keep it modern, and the overall effect is comforting without feeling generic.
It works in cooler weather and transition times of year, especially for evening wear. The sillage is noticeable but not loud, making it a great choice for close settings or cozy occasions.
This will appeal to fans of creamy orientals, woody vanillas, and accessible ouds. If you like milky or lactonic notes but don’t want to commit to a heavy oud, Milky Oud is a comfortable middle ground.
Milky Oud is a refined take on the creamy oud trend. It's warm, slightly sweet, and easy to wear, with just enough spice to keep your attention. A solid choice for anyone looking for a new comforting signature.
