Mate Nostrum by Solonoi is a green aromatic fragrance that won me over from the very first second, inspired by the drying process of yerba mate. It starts fresh, green, and citrusy, with the mate leaf accompanied by lemon, bergamot, and bitter orange peel that give it a lot of brightness. On my skin, that orange peel sometimes takes on a soft, almost floral nuance that adds elegance. The heart maintains that natural profile, and the base leaves a subtle smokiness that recalls the drying of the leaf. It lasts easily 8 hours, with good projection at the start and then more skin-scented but still present. (If you’re looking for a beach vibe, this isn’t it, huh? haha)
