In one word: amazing perfume. It’s elegant, sober, and mature, perfectly combining very contained and wearable incense notes (much more versatile than the original Loewe 7), a delicious amber, and tremendously seductive leather, along with woods that are perceptible throughout the life of the fragrance. Obviously, for fall/winter and more for formal settings. Longevity and projection are very good; on my skin it easily lasts more than 8 hours, projecting well for the first three. Watch out, don’t over-spray; four is more than enough. What I don’t like is Loewe’s new policy with their bottles: each line should keep its signature bottle model. Putting the same one for everything looks terrible (they look like the ones sold in pharmacies) and leads to mistakes. Rating: 9/10.

  • I tried it today and the performance is quite scarce. The smell is like Holy Week incense, but instead of giving me a religious vibe, it gives me more of a luxurious one.

It surprised me and I liked it. The opening is very good. I could detect the incense note, but it’s true that it felt somewhat new and very pleasant because it’s well accompanied by a touch of spice. Gradually the fragrance develops without losing the incense, but with a leather note that, although hard to pinpoint, is very well tamed by the rest of the notes. The ending isn’t bad at all, but I liked it less because although it’s olfactorily very interesting, I fear it might get boring. In my case, it’s not something to wear very often or apply generously. Longevity and projection are good, although I haven’t tested it on skin. It’s a masculine, elegant, original, and quite interesting fragrance. Definitely recommend trying it.

  • I have some reviews down below; I always tend to come back to them after some time to reconnect and share my best experience. Loewe 7 Anonimo is a proper oriental without falling into the intensity or unpleasantness that an oriental of this caliber can sometimes produce. Perfectly adapted to current trends but without straying from its ‘friendly’ approach. The aroma is original, sublime, with the quality of a niche in all its glory. It opens with incense and amber, which as it dries down becomes sharp due to the pepper; in this phase, it doesn’t project much. The magic begins 30-60 minutes after application; that’s when you notice the sandalwood, leather, benzoin, and labdanum, and it starts taking a sweet, creamy, smoky direction, a high-class aroma. To my nose, it becomes completely irresistible; it’s one of those perfumes where I put it on and feel happy, let alone the people around me; the good impact is always guaranteed with this fragrance. I don’t want to make this review too long and want to summarize it by saying: it will be very difficult for any designer brand to surpass this performance, and personally, it will be hard to find another fragrance that blows my mind as much.

I first encountered Loewe 7 Anonimo back in 2017. It was wearing (the Anonimo) an elegant black suit that had nothing to do with the drab, soulless semi-translucent glass bottle it wears now, losing class and personality to become just another perfume, one that looks like a supermarket bargain or a trinket from a dubious fair. I went to meet its superstar brother, Loewe 7, who wore a bright, flashy blue bottle, as if to say: I will never go unnoticed. The sales associate sprayed me with 2 sprays of Loewe 7, and right from the start, I didn’t like it; it seemed very invasive with an incense that exceeded the threshold my receptors could tolerate. She insisted I try the Anonimo, so grudgingly I agreed, and I ended up wafting incense all over the mall. I remember I was in a rush, so I had no choice but to get back in my car. Suddenly, I started liking what was coming from my right forearm. Exiting the chaotic mall, the scent continued to be more than interesting, with a friendly incense skillfully combined with other notes; I really liked smelling that fragrance hitting me in waves. Both lasted until my shower, but the balance was overwhelmingly positive for the Anonimo. A couple of weeks ago, at my request, my friend Jerry 7474 recommended this fragrance. Thanks, friend, you hit the mark… I went back to the store and found this bottle change across the entire Loewe line; the sales associate swore it wasn’t a reformulation but just a marketing strategy. I appreciated it again and must admit it’s an excellent perfume, elegant, clean, harmonious, much more versatile than its brother Loewe 7, with exquisite incense very similar to L’Orpheline by Serge Lutens, but the difference is that Loewe 7 Anonimo lasts several hours, maybe 3+ with good projection, whereas Lutens projects for minutes before clinging to the skin. That initial burst of incense with spices and spice really didn’t agree with me, but as it dried down, the perfume spread its wings and showed its qualities: elegance, correct assembly, top-quality notes, and a personality that projects onto the wearer. If you wear a shirt and pants and apply it, you’ll look like you’re wearing a suit and tie; if you wear a suit and spray it on your skin, you’ll look like you’re in a tuxedo ready for the red carpet. I believe that trio of moderate incense, very fine and exquisite benzoin is the secret to looking so good and being a perfume that touches niche quality. Friends and forum members, anyone who isn’t an incense fan should give this exquisite and elegant fragrance a try; it’s very likely you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It might not generate too many compliments, but it will ensure you don’t go unnoticed. Be happy, life isn’t that long…

  • @ Leaass: Seriously? Is it like Creed Aventus? Not even remotely do I find any similarity whatsoever; they are two completely different things.

  • Hey! I confused this with Loewe Esencia EDP, which is why I compared it to Aventus… they changed the bottles so much that they all look the same now… This one is really rich… I honestly don’t know if it’s weak on longevity or if it’s just causing olfactory fatigue.

  • What a shame with this fragrance. I love the smell—it’s very particular and far from commercial—but its longevity is a cheap joke. You have to bathe in it to project anything, and in the end, it just sits on the skin; by three hours, you smell nothing. It makes me so angry because I love this incense, but paying that much for a perfume that barely lasts is infuriating. It’s the kind of perfume a Tibetan monk would wear.

  • Loewe’s ‘7’ line has created compositions worthy of recognition; this ‘Anonimo,’ as its name suggests, doesn’t need to proclaim itself—it speaks for itself. The opening is peculiar, fresh yet dark, with an intense, smoky incense that lasts the entire life of the fragrance. It then transitions to a sweet, slightly spicy, and woody phase, accompanied by resins, leather, and sandalwood that round out the scent. ‘Anonimo’ is that kind of seductive, mysterious, and masculine perfume, standing out in aroma, trail, and presence. On me, it lasts 12 hours. Recommended not to overapply, as too much can cause olfactory fatigue and, in the worst case, become overwhelming. Highly recommended for those over 30 and for occasions where you want to stand out.

  • BassoProfumo

This smells VERY good. Much better than the original Loewe 7. I clearly sense the clove, and it seems to have good potency. Maybe it’s one of Loewe’s best alongside Solo Mercurio. I get a vibe from Azzaro Visit, but more potent.

  • Zeón_liv

It’s a marvel; on my skin, I manage to smell the incense throughout the fragrance’s life, like temple candles, very pleasant. When dry, it has a very amber scent; the leather is very subtle, very light, but honestly, I don’t recommend buying it blind. The first time I tried it, I thought it was a bit heavy, but I couldn’t forget it, so I tried it again and it caught me. Curiously, I’ve received several compliments from women, but male colleagues don’t like it. As for longevity, I got a cylindrical black bottle but with the Garden Botanical box still on it, and it lasts very well for 6 to 8 hours. It’s, without a doubt, a fragrance that adds something different to the collection.

  • gabinetegil

Hi everyone! I have the previous bottle version, and it’s a real bomb! It’s not an easy scent, but tremendously spectacular. WARNING on the sprays! It can become very overwhelming if you overdo it. Should I recommend it? An emphatic yes! But testing before is fundamental. Cheers community.

  • I love it. One of my favorite fragrances when it’s refreshing. Opens with strong incense that moderates, in my opinion, with a vetiver base and moderate leather presence. Longevity and sillage are high. I’d avoid it in hot weather. Also, don’t over-spray, as 3 to 5 sprays are more than enough to make an impression. My daughter and my mother love it. It will be a marvel at night in winter. I’d repurchase without any doubt. I have the new bottle; I never got to know the previous one. It’s sober but not ugly. Cheers.

  • Loewe has the best incense I’ve heard on the market, and in this, their darkest, most winter-leaning flanker, they explode it to the max with that pepper blend. Nothing invasive and very cozy, one of my winter favorites.

  • Psicostasis

It’s the restrained, dry version of Loewe 7. Compared to this, it lacks any trace of lush vegetation and smells so clean it’s hard to believe it’s incense. It starts like sterile wood, like a psychopathic banker or an HR director announcing layoffs. As it evolves, the office is abandoned, and moss and vegetation take over.

  • Just acquired. Old format, black bottle but with a small 7. Not the oldest format. Batch 2019-01-09. I think it was reformulated in this format already… very close-to-the-skin scent. Smells like incense and leather… perfect for cold climates. I paid little thanks to a promotion, but in my opinion… if I had to pay the regular store price… it’s not worth it.

  • Among all my perfumes, this is number one. I have an old batch that lasts longer than any other I own. I don’t know how the new ones will turn out. That incense is spectacular, elegant, and begs for autumn and winter after 6 PM. Test before buying. I bought a decant and loved it, but I prioritized another fragrance. One day I passed by the perfume shop near my house, tried it again, and thought, ‘How didn’t I buy this before?’ and I bought it instantly. It’s a ‘bomb.’ Watch out for the trigger, because you’ll hate it. With 3 or 4 sprays, it lasts 8 hours with plenty to spare. I’d repurchase without hesitation. Seems made for people over 35. Thanks Loewe for this ‘work of art’.

  • Inexpertoempezando

I had the cylindrical bottle, and it was a top in scent and value; with three sprays, it lasted 8 hours, and I took over a year (100ml) to finish it. Definitely worth considering for that characteristic incense. If you get the chance, don’t hesitate. At least the cylindrical one was different from the rest of the Loewe 7 line, pleasant if you don’t over-spray.

  • I.aprendiz

One of the best things Loewe has released after its iconic classics like Esencia or Pour Homme… I have a little bottle of the old ones, those with a metallic embellisher over a black cylinder, not the ones so similar to the Serge Lutens line, so I don’t know if it’s reformulated. Today is a very rainy day and temperatures have dropped… today is the perfect day to light this 7 Anónimo. Unlike the 7 straight, this Loewe has much more wearable incense, with a tiny liturgical touch but very subtle, and it rests all on a slightly sweet and dry leather due to the labdanum, along with the smoky creaminess of the sandalwood. It’s elegant, mature, and I personally think it goes very well on cold days, although if you like it, you can wear it whenever you feel like it. The quality of the composition is very good and the performance too, so there are few or no flaws to point out to this creation with niche airs. Said and done, a very cool bet.

  • AugustoDoc

It’s an elegant, delicious jewel, completely divorced from current trends. I have a 2021 batch and don’t know about the black bottle version. Incense dominates the entire evolution with a woody touch; I didn’t detect any leather. While the incense is very present, it’s not invasive: it’s creamy, smoky, and easy to wear. It’s versatile and elegant; this Loewe makes me feel different. The projection and longevity are modest, about 5 or 6 hours, a bit weak, but I have no regrets—it’s a great choice.

  • Jorge Blanco

I have the black bottle (fortunately 150 mL) and it’s by far my favorite perfume among all I own and have tried. 3 sprays and you’re ready for 8 hours of olfactory notoriety. Elegant, masculine, and very pleasant. For me, it’s a leather perfume; it has incense but doesn’t resemble Loewe 7 at all. The ‘incense’ smell I can say is notable is the sandalwood (sandalwood stick but unburnt). For nights and winter in elegant situations. Not much more to say besides that it’s a blast. Don’t buy it because it’s mine. With this perfume, I have El Don. I don’t have money but I have El Don; I don’t have fame but I have El Don.

  • darksoul1998

My version is the black bottle with the small 7. I like it a lot and I think it handles the 6/7 hours well. Since I haven’t tried the other, I imagine it would carry more incense; in this case, I notice a well-balanced incense and leather. I like it because it takes me on an olfactory walk to the souk of Granada, with leather shops and burning incense sticks nearby.

  • Review of the black bottle with LOEWE and a small 7: It’s an unconventional scent. Immediately you feel that fresh, spicy, and dark opening, which lasts a short time and settles into a leather with vetiver. Its evolution lacks nuances like other fragrances. I consider it quite flat; I summarize it to incense and leather, but it’s quite friendly and high quality. It’s not a punch in the nose at all. It’s enveloping and pleasant. On the other hand, I think its performance is fair. This batch is from 2019, and although I haven’t done deep tests, it gives me the impression of being like D&G’s ‘The One’ or Bvlgari’s Man in Black: great scent, skin scent with short projection (30 min) and maximum longevity of 4 hours. Typical for dates in spring, autumn, and winter. Despite its dark character, I feel it’s versatile. I can see myself wearing it in almost any occasion except summer and informal settings. As a signature fragrance, it lacks projection, but it wouldn’t be bad if you’re just looking for a personal and close scent. Note, this review is with the BOMBA call.

  • KRATOSGAMER666

Simple review: I bought the fragrance because the scent captivated me; it’s quite different, with clear oriental influences and that mysterious incense, simply exquisite and refined. It’s my first Loewe fragrance; I’ve tried almost the whole line, but I had to take this bottle. The scent is magnificent. It’s exquisite if you’re looking for something elegant and different; here’s a good option. It’s not as heavy as I thought; it’s at a borderline point. It’s not a blind buy, because although the scent is good, it’s not for everyone. The price seems reasonable; I haven’t found another fragrance of this quality and aroma. The only downside is the performance, which I know is better in the large bottle. Edit: I’ve been using it more and realized that, although it’s from 2023, it has good performance. It lasted from night to morning, and the whole day it stayed impregnated with good projection.

  • I liked it. It’s a decaffeinated version of the 7, much more versatile. At some point, it reminds me of Pomegranate Noir by Joe Malone, I’m not sure if just because of the pepper. It lasts longer than this perfume on the skin, has a great scent, but the performance fails.

  • What more can I say about this perfume that hasn’t already been said? Sublime and unmistakable. The incense Loewe handles is as beautiful and celestial as being inside a cathedral. Both the classic 7 and 7 Anónimo are excellent: one is dry and slightly fruity, while the other is smoky with a sweet touch, though the incense is very prominent in both.

  • The first impression of Anónimo, with its incense opening, is like stepping into an ancient mystery. It’s a delicate incense that evokes the hidden. For those seeking something that lasts, its longevity is notable: it stays strong on the skin for 8 hours and even longer on clothes, wrapping you in elegance. Ideal for cold climates, day or night; I see it more for formal situations, but it depends on each person. I don’t recommend buying blind. For me, this perfume is a reminder that, like in a good story, what’s fascinating isn’t the known, but the unknown; not the answer, but the question.

  • OdiseoBcn

It’s a marvel of incense and amber that reminds me of the ‘mother’ (Loewe 7) but with its own personality. It’s sweeter, yet overwhelmingly masculine, adult, and elegant—very virile and powerful. It has huge longevity and projection on my skin, and the dry-down is incredibly attractive. Highly recommended at 1794%, but as always, try it first. Let it dry down and you’ll fall in love.

  • After using it for the third time, I can rate it. The first two times I noticed little presence, as if the aroma was contained, but very rich. With oxygenation, things changed and the magic happened. It’s true it’s not a projector, but how much elegance is in it. Opening in pink pepper and incense, which then turns to amber and woods with a hint of freshly sharpened pencil mine. It’s very special and not mainstream, making it unique and worthy of compliments like few others. Fragrance for autumn and winter days. Deserves to be worn elegantly to match it, as I don’t see it as casual or sport. This smells like power, a resolved person, a paid mortgage… Great for day/night/evening. Perfect for office and formal occasions. Longevity 8/10, Projection 7/10, Scent 9/10, GLOBAL 8/10, Batch 01/2022.

  • Much more ambered and balsamic version than the original, with a certain sweet hint. Personally, I don’t smell much incense.

  • I read many reviews criticizing the reformulation. In my opinion, after trying the original and this new formula, it’s the only reformulation for the better I’ve found so far in any perfume. It makes it more versatile and attractive. The original had a heavy incense that was even annoying a while after spraying, but now it has become my signature fragrance. An ambered aroma, with a pleasant incense and a subtle, elegant leather. Totally recommended.

  • It was my discovery this Christmas; Loewe had never caught my attention, but smelling it out of curiosity was spectacular. Not a dark scent like I usually like, but more friendly to the public. People see it more for night, but in cold climates I see it for any time of day. Its longevity on me is moderate, but you pay for what you get.

  • What can I say that hasn’t been said (I think they already said it, haha)? Just enjoy some of the few commercial gems left. I also tried the old version; I don’t find big differences. Maybe to my nose the incense note differs, but we’re talking about negligible percentages. The performance is beautiful, longevity above average, maybe 8 or 9 hours. Projection is amazing for the first 3 hours, dropping very slowly to close in a bubble about 2 meters wide for another 5 hours. Then skin-scent with a sublime aroma. Scent: 9/10, Longevity: 10/10, Projection: 8/10, Sillage: 7/10, Value: 8/10, Blind buy: 6/10, Versatility: 4/10. Season: temperate climates and could work in warm weather (using less). Night outings and not-too-hot afternoons.

  • It doesn’t resemble its little sister at all; this is an Armani Acqua di Gio but very beastly and dark. Perfume for suits and ties, weddings, baptisms… not for going to a nightclub or a pub, it totally clashes in that environment. Perfume for gentlemen.

  • Brandon Fougere

I tried this a couple of days ago, and let me tell you, of the 7 line, this formula is the weakest. In the opening, you feel the aromatic notes of pink pepper and vetiver; over time, the incense and sandalwood compete, but it’s a good combination that helps each other, though not always. I think it’s a totally aromatic perfume. The leather is soft, suede-like, elegant, but don’t expect raw, heavy leather like a Gucci Absolut; adding absinthe makes it totally autumnal. I can’t see myself wearing it in summer or hot days; it’s for cloudy days, rain, or no more than 72°F (22°C). Weak longevity, about 5-7 hours, so only for fresh or cold climates. Low projection: 1 hour, that’s its limit.

  • blvck-w-wilson

It caught my eye several times, I bought it blind, and now I’m on my ninth bottle, with both the old and new formulas. It doesn’t project like a beast as some reviews say, but if I describe it in two words: sophisticated macho. Subtle and delicious incense, leather, and a tiny sweet touch that makes you fall in love. Very different from current trends, which makes me want it more; even though it stays close to the skin, it has incredible quality. It’s a certified male fragrance. Since it’s not that common, it adds a touch of mystery if you don’t follow the mainstream. For tastes, aromas, and colors, but it will be part of my top 5. Perfume bomb.

  • Is it my nose or a fuzzy memory, but this smells like Ganymede. If so, I need that bottle now (I’ve used a decant for a while); if not, even better, because the other one was amazing. It has an incense opening but stays fresh, evoking that mineral vibe of Ganymede. It should be heavier in notes, but it’s the opposite. The dry down is addictive immediately. Then a light, perceptible suede blends in, keeping the fragrance going until the end with vetiver. I barely detect anything else. In short: for cold weather, fresh in its own way, without density. Markedly masculine, a Swiss Army knife. Wear it whenever you want; it doesn’t clash. In heat, for real, it would suffocate you. Performance is correct, not a projector, lasts over 4 hours before you can’t smell it. Price is more than fair. Loewe almost never fails, well-deserved.
