Libertine by Vivienne Westwood is a fruity chypre fragrance for women. Launched in 2000, this olfactory composition was created by perfumer Martin Gras. In its initial phase, the fragrance unfolds an explosion of pineapple, grapefruit, and passion fruit. The heart reveals a floral harmony formed by honeysuckle, bergamot, valley lily, and rose. Finally, the base settles on a sensual woody accord combining oakmoss, musk, patchouli, labdanum, and amber.

I use it sparingly so it lasts; just two sprays are enough—it’s incredibly potent and lasts all day. Unlike the Boudoir, it comes with a silver cap, and when you open it, boom! That fresh, soapy scent hits you instantly. It smells like just stepping out of the shower in some tropical paradise. The pineapple, citrus, and green notes stand out, along with a ton of mentholated patchouli. I also catch a marine touch that fits perfectly. It’s a mossy, natural, tender, and relaxing scent, yet at the same time bold, shameless, provocative, and brave. Complete opposites in the best way. I put it on and feel naked, with a white towel around my waist and a pineapple in hand. 🕯️ 10/10.🔥
