About King of Summerisle
King of Summerisle: A Smoky, Sweet Leather Fragrance from OM Parfum
OM Parfum introduces King of Summerisle in 2026, a new unisex scent in the leather olfactory family. The name conjures a blend of royal poise and untamed landscapes.
Crafted by perfumer Aichi Liu, it pairs a dark woody-smoky structure with soft, gourmand sweetness.
The opening sparkles with mandarin and angelica, giving a fresh lift before the heart unfolds notes of cherry, plum, coffee, and tobacco, wrapped in incense and warm spice.
At the base, a serious leather accord takes center stage, backed by birch tar, castoreum, and cade oil. Mysore sandalwood, Virginia cedar, and Atlas cedar add a creamy, resinous smoothness.
Oudwood, patchouli, oakmoss, and amber deepen the trail, while chocolate, caramel, whisky, and styrax introduce a boozy sweetness. Frankincense and guaiacol reinforce the smoky, almost sacred vibe.
Key accords include woody, amber, smoky, sweet, warm spicy, leather, aromatic, fresh spicy, earthy, and fruity. It is a dense, enveloping perfume with impressive sillage, better suited for cooler weather.
Uncommon ingredients like jatamansi (spikenard) and choya ral bring balsamic, slightly animalic depth. The result is an unconventional leather that feels both luxurious and feral.
Anyone who loves bold, complex perfumes with a strong identity, especially those drawn to dark, smoky gourmands and leather chypres.
King of Summerisle is an audacious and rewarding leather fragrance, with an evolving drydown that keeps you coming back for another sniff.
