Infinitum Is Veritas's Bold Woody-Spicy Launch for 2026

Veritas enters 2026 with Infinitum, a new unisex fragrance in the woody-spicy family. It was composed by Arnaud Fourré, and its scent pyramid moves from saffron and cardamom to leather, labdanum and woods.

In between are lime, patchouli and rose, with accords that include warm spice, wood, metal, leather, roses, patchouli and tobacco. It is a dry, dark composition with a very distinct personality.

The opening of Infinitum is all about tension. Saffron introduces a warm, slightly metallic glow; cardamom brings an aromatic green edge; and lime cuts through with sour brightness. Nothing about the first minutes feels sweet or rounded.

In the heart, rose and patchouli meet on darker ground. The rose is treated in a dry, almost powdery way, while patchouli adds an earthy base. This pairing steers the scent away from soft florals and into more complicated territory.

The base is where Infinitum makes its statement. Woody notes, labdanum and leather form a resinous, lightly smoky backdrop. Labdanum supplies a subtle amber-like sweetness, and leather wraps everything in a muted, textured warmth.

Given that structure, Infinitum feels better suited to cool weather and evening wear. It isn't obvious or light, and its personality asks for attention.

The only rating so far is 2 out of 5, based on one review. That is an extremely small sample, but it may be worth testing Infinitum on skin before investing in a full bottle.

Enthusiasts of unisex spiced woods, leathery florals and resinous bases. It will likely be too heavy or too strange for those who prefer fresh citrus and breezy daily scents.

Infinitum is a confident, unconventional fragrance from Veritas. Saffron, leather and labdanum create a memorable mix, yet the early low score suggests it may not be for everyone. Sample first, then decide.
