Good perfume, but I think Spirit of King continues with creations ‘inspired’ by others already made. Without tobacco being declared as a note, it smells very similar to Tom Ford’s Tobacco Oud to me. It has good longevity and performance, but nothing new in perfumery. After wearing it thoroughly, the dry down settles into an animalic yet pleasant scent, very much in the style of Francesca Bianchi.
Starts with a fruity and varied touch, but it’s like a book cover: it fades away after a while. A friend told me it smells like a high-stakes business meeting, SMOKE, SMOKE, and SMOKE; nothing feminine, very masculine, but despite the smoke it has a gentle tone that doesn’t overwhelm. I need to try it more to decide, because it’s very particular. Lasts a long time.
