  A goodnight kiss from Roja Parfums for $1,750, inspired by her mother’s goodbye kiss when he was six. The opening is very floral with aldehydes, lily-of-the-valley root, a soft and refined sweetness, and a rice accord that makes it powdery, feminine, spiced, and dated. It has good quality and performance, but it doesn’t impress me; it’s nothing new. It’s not bad, but there are many similar high-quality options for less than a quarter of the price. I know exclusivity has a cost, but this perfume is expensive just because it is (let’s avoid talking about Haute Luxe). To buy it, you need to wear it heavily and love it to justify the high price. If you just like it, there are others offering kisses for less. Good perfume, but lacking originality with an absurd price.

  A Goodnight Kiss by Roja Parfums is a classic that smells like heaven and angels thanks to its quality. It recreates the scent of an elegant, made-up, and perfumed woman from the 60s. It opens strong with aldehydes and citrus, then moves into a powdery floral with carnation, violet, iris, and rose that transports you to a gala in dreamy gowns. After 30 minutes, it becomes very powdery and musky; the initial notes fade but remain the core. Jasmine and ylang-ylang appear subtly. Hours later, everything is powdery until the musk dominates—clean but with an animalic touch. It’s the best quality I’ve ever smelled and has the best construction. It lasts over 12 hours with moderate projection.
