Never quite caught me. It’s not that I hate it, but that opening note just doesn’t sit right with me… I’ve had it tucked away for years, too afraid to use it, not sure when it would fit. The good news is it’s cheap, so I don’t mind it just gathering dust. People say it’s the same as Prada L’homme; maybe the only thing they share is that they’re sold in perfumeries. Apart from that, they have nothing in common. Finding reviews of this perfume in Spanish is harder than spotting a JPG Le Beau LP.
The first time I tried it, I got a decant and it didn’t convince me; it felt very vintage. Months later, I smelled it again, and suddenly, something changed: I started liking it more and more until I finally bought the 100ml bottle. It seems like the perfect fall perfume. It’s one of those scents where, as time passes, you go completely crazy for it.
Ajmal Evoque Silver smells very similar to Zara Vibrant Leather Platinum, Armaf Craze, and consequently, PM’s Pegasus. It has great longevity, sillage, and projection, and it’s a completely unisex fragrance. In Chile, you can get it for around $30 (22,000 CLP).
