eo01 by biehl parfumkunstwerke is an oriental fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2007, the nose behind this creation is Egon Oelkers. The top notes are coconut, cardamom, nutmeg, blackcurrant, blood orange, and tangerine; the heart notes are brazilian rosewood, orchid, sweet paprika, iris, and valley lily; and the base notes are vanilla, cinnamon, tonka bean, sandalwood, amber, styrax, patchouli, virginia cedar, musk, and vetiver.

Eo01 was love at first sight. I picked it up at a store in Santiago for an incredible price, tried the whole range, and immediately chose this one without hesitation (though I absolutely adore mb02 and the orange one too). To me, it smells like custard: vanilla, tonka, and coconut blended with sandalwood, flowers, and spices for a sweet, creamy effect so delicious it makes you want to eat it! The performance is moderate but lasts quite a while (6-8 hours) with average projection. I see it as ideal for daily wear, unisex, and suitable for almost any season. The only thing that’s unclear to me is whether it works for very formal events or going out at night, since it’s quite discreet.
