So I tried the Divain version and it hit me, although honestly, I barely notice it. I’m not sure if it’s the perfume or if I’m experiencing anosmia, but it smells a bit and then vanishes immediately. I can’t really distinguish the notes; the aquatic aspect goes unnoticed, though I do sense that freshness. The fruity notes are indeterminate (not red fruits or peach, maybe a mix of apple, grape, and plum; I don’t feel the passion fruit) followed by white flowers with a punch, some potency that might come from the amber. Overall, it has a plasticky, doll-like touch, not sweet at all, just a tiny bit. It’s a white floral with a hint of fruit, carrying that fun, carefree 90s vibe. I love the marketing; they nailed the image of the future, very much in line with today’s AI avatars. A cool concept and a 90s vibe you can’t find anymore. Ideal for spring and summer.
I have a half-obsession with 90s perfumes… I finally got it, the vintage bottle ๐โจ Unlike the Double Je, I’d never smelled this one before, so I had a little fear… but I loved it! โจ The curious thing is that it smells like what I had imagined more or less; the notes are real xD. What stands out most are the aquatic notes, slightly fruity, and a soft, powdery heliotrope that gives it depth and personality alongside the 90s musk. I’m glad I decided on it in the end ๐, it’s the kind of scent that goes with me ๐ธ. I can’t say it’s in my top right now, but it’s close ๐ (I’m curious to try the Divain one).

The Divain version is a spot-on clone and has better longevity than the original ๐๐๐. Wish they would release more vintage out-of-print versions ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐.
Haven’t read the last review yet (what a pity I didn’t see it sooner), but yesterday, February 5th, 2024, I randomly decided to search and found the 872 by Divain. I bought it and now I have it (less than 24 hours from Madrid). Finally! I’m not sure if it’s identical since I don’t have the original and judging from memory is tricky, but… it’s very similar, so I’m giving it a 9 for now. Honestly, it’s worth trying this version. I already left a review on Google Maps to help anyone looking for it, because it took me forever to find it. I hope they make more of the discontinued ones.
Without reading the last review (too bad I didn’t see it before), I happened to Google it yesterday, February 5, 2024, and the Divain 872 came up. I bought it. I received it today (less than 24 hours to Madrid, Spain). Finally! I don’t know if it’s exactly the same since I don’t have any original left and judging by memory is tricky, but… it’s similar and very similar, so I’m giving it a 9 for now. Honestly, it’s worth trying this version. I already left a review on Google Maps to help people looking for it, as I spent a lot of time searching. Wish they would make more of the discontinued ones.
Hi! @beiKa, Divain has released the equivalent. As far as I know, only in Spain. Cheers.
Hello!! @beiKa, Divain has released the equivalent. As far as I know, only in Spain. Best regards.
It was my favorite cologne as a teenager, and now I have it again, the original! (treasures you find once in a lifetime) and when I smell it, it transports me back to that era. It’s a unique cologne; I haven’t smelled anything like it, it seems to have its own stamp, reminding you of nothing before or now. Its color and packaging were also magical and unique, even the ad was! It’s an aquatic scent, a bit floral, slightly musky, with something “cheerful” like fruity without being so, a strange, young, and unique smell; it’s one of the few perfumes I struggle to describe. In fact, it smells a bit like perfumed plastic, like a doll, or old makeup, I don’t know, it’s so strange that I’m surprised they haven’t reissued it. It’s like it’s a synthetic smell but without that unpleasant, pricking “synthetic” sensation, instead it becomes velvety, powdery, kind, and feminine. I have one in spray and another pour-on without an atomizer, which is my favorite, just like the original one. Shortly after, I started using Bonjour! (which I also got by a miracle) to my heart’s content, and a few years later, Bombรณn by Myrurgia, three jewels that are now impossible to find, two of which aren’t even described on this website ๐ [Fun fact: Alada is older and does appear; they should open a channel for 80s and 90s fragrances].
I had it as a teenager, I loved it, I need it back in my life or something similar.
The scent of my adolescence. I liked that unique smell so much and haven’t smelled it since.
I had it in the 90s as a child and it was one of my favorite colognes. Now the bottle is different and the scent barely lasts; the original version was better.
