It seems the bottle designers wanted to pay homage to Cher’s biography, and they did it brilliantly: the bottle looks like it has patches and titanium screws. The first Frankenstein ever created should be named ‘Prometheus’.

It’s an olfactory fantasy. Opulent, risky, and surprising. It doesn’t smell like a celebrity perfume at all; it could easily be a Chanel. Cher has created a scent from another planet. It opens with cloves and bergamot, then shifts into a rose blended with white flowers. I’ve never heard a perfume like this, and I absolutely loved it. I’d definitely buy it again. If you’re a Cher fan, you’ll fall in love. I don’t know what her first perfume smelled like, though everyone says it resembles this one. Eau de Couture is luxury quality, both in scent, bottle, and packaging. If you get the chance, don’t hesitate to buy it; it’s a true relic. Even if you’re not a Cher fan but are intrigued—if you like dark, opulent perfumes—it won’t leave you indifferent. Repeat: I’ve never heard anything like this. 10/10
This has been the perfume I’ve most desired in 2021; at first, it was only available in the US, but then it showed up on Amazon UK, and I thought, ‘This one’s mine!’ I already had a mini of their 80s Uninhibited, that classic scent of the era that made me think, ‘This is what Cher must have smelled like.’ This Eau de Couture is very similar but modernized—it doesn’t stay stuck in the 80s; it’s updated for this decade. It smells clean and pure, yet also extravagant and luxurious. The standout notes are cloves, bergamot, neroli, vanilla orchid, sandalwood, and vetiver. It has a strong sillage and lasts about 7 hours. A total hit from the Pop Goddess.
