Descripción

December Ambar by PARIS CORNER is an oriental vanilla fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2025, this creation is a new addition to the brand's catalog. Its olfactory pyramid opens with a vibrant top note combination of apple, anise, and coconut. The heart reveals the elegance of saffron, the sweetness of plum, and the bloom of rose. To close, the base offers a warm and enveloping foundation of amber, vanilla, cedar, benzoin, anise, moss, and caramel.

  • It smells like nothing it claims to have; it’s bland. It starts fruity, but forget green apple, coconut, or plum—it’s a jumbled mess with no identity. Anise? Neither the liquor nor the spice is detectable, even though it should be prominent. Rose and saffron? Where are they? Playing hide-and-seek? In the dry down, it just smells like something that could be amber, from start to finish. To summarize: it smells like fruit and amber throughout, with no evolution. It’s an forgettable scent. I bought it blindly because I like its sibling, December Vanilla (it has patchouli, so avoid if you’re not a fan), but it was a huge mistake. Based on the notes, I thought it would work, but this isn’t worth it. That said, my take on Arabic perfumes: I’m tired of feeling cheated. When I first started buying them, they were obscure gems, and I discovered real treasures. Now, they send free samples by the truckload, there are hundreds of shops, and dozens of imitations of the same Western scents. They push toxic tropes as if they’re the pinnacle, sometimes even for free in exchange for a mention. This makes some of us look like fools, but I’m jumping ship: my last three purchases have been disappointing. That’s it; I won’t buy Arabic perfume again without smelling it first. Plus, the prices are massively inflated compared to before. I predict a bleak future for them: too many launches, higher prices, and worse quality. Hope this helps.
