  This bottle makes up for past bad perfume purchases by delivering a perfect oud experience; the moment you apply it, you feel accomplished. It’s an absolute steal at this price point. It opens with a massive, 100% natural Indian oud that isn’t for beginners—you might actually want to return it; I’d recommend a more basic oud to those folks. Only authentic, aged Indian oud smells like this. It melts your senses and transports you to a paradise of exotic woods, featuring a fecal-animal oud of another level that dominates the top notes. At 35 minutes, it’s still there, but white musk softens the edge, adding nobility and elegance. Ambrette adds sensuality without being too deep, simply embracing the oud to round it out and make it unique. The Turkish rose didn’t meet my expectations; it’s very dry and far from being the secondary note, yet it remains exceptional. Many get confused about the longevity; people complain on Fragrantica. It’s true that by the two-hour mark it sits closer to the skin, but it remains present until 4 or 5 hours. Its real longevity is 6-7 hours. It’s not responsible, but the naturalness you pay for justifies everything and saves you 650-700 dollars compared to Ajmal’s similar formula. I’m giving it 8.7/10 for the longevity that leaves me wanting more, but it’s worth every damn cent. Bravo Ajmal!
