Bortnikoff is already something special. The opening is energetic, citrusy with a touch of sweetness and a spicy kick—very bright and pleasant. After a few minutes, that luminous air gives way to a cozy floral note, softening the initial intensity; the ylang-ylang, which usually overwhelms me, is perfect here. The citrus fades into resinous and balsamic accords, nothing greasy, all very airy and unobtrusive. From start to finish, there are spices and a slightly sweet base. Elegant, perfect for special occasions, it exudes sophistication. I wouldn’t wear it in summer, but it works all year round. Unisex, lasts many hours without being too projecting. Bortnikoff pricing. A versatile niche gem that has captivated me. Wonderful.
