Disappointing. Anyone who owned the CK Summer tangerine from 2010, with that acidic-sweet touch where you could taste the tangerine, watermelon, and violet as it dried, got excited seeing they were bringing out another tangerine for this summer and bought it blind. A blunder. The tangerine in Summer Daze 2022 is very faint; the musk, vetiver, or mint swallow it whole by 90%. From a dwarf tangerine, I didn’t expect a spectacular citrus, but the base notes don’t help the kumquat scent; it lacks a bright top note and the dry-down smells salty. I don’t like it at all—it’s not even a cologne, citrus, or summer scent; it’s one of those you don’t know when to wear. I’ll keep it until next summer to see how it ages. If you’re looking for a fresh tangerine EDT, I definitely don’t recommend this one.
Disappointed. I remembered the tangerine from Summer Daze 2010, slightly acidic and sweet, where you could really taste the fruit, watermelon, and violet as it dried. When I saw they were releasing another tangerine edition for this summer, I got excited and bought it blind: a huge mistake. The tangerine in this 2022 version is very faint; the musk, vetiver, and mint overpower it by 90%. I went downtown looking for a citrus perfume, came home with lots of samples, and left them in the room. After a while, everything smelled like this perfume. I searched for it and found a little paper that smelled better than the rest: CK Summer Daze, the cheapest and cheeriest one. I bought it. I like that it’s 100 ml, the price, the freshness, and that I don’t feel bad spending it. Yes, you have to spray it on clothes to make it last; on my skin, it doesn’t last more than an hour, but on fabric it lasts several hours and projects a lot. If you want something simple and refreshing for summer, this works. It’s not a perfumery masterpiece, but it delivers. I shared it with my husband, who also liked it.
I went to the mall looking for citrus and came back with many samples, but everything smelled like this perfume. I searched and it was CK Summer Daze, the cheapest and cheeriest one. I like that it has 100 ml, the price, and the freshness; I don’t feel bad spending it. Watch out, you have to spray it on clothes to make it last; on my skin it doesn’t pass an hour, but on fabric it lasts several hours and sillage is strong. It’s simple and refreshing for summer, not a masterpiece, but worth the cost. I share it with my husband, who also liked it.
As a side note, cheap comes expensive. I bought it for the fresh scent it left, but the mistake was not letting it settle; after 15 minutes, it smelled like nothing. I only use it for sleeping because if I want to smell something, this won’t deliver.
Fresh and delicious fragrance, nothing cloying, but its only flaw is longevity. CKs last very little; they seem like colognes instead of EDTs; for the minimum price, they should last longer or offer an EDP instead of an EDT that smells like Eau de Cologne. If you use it, be prepared to reapply every hour: it’s money down the drain if you’re looking for something long-lasting.

Summer-y and delicious. The mix of orange, mint, and tea smells like a freshly served cocktail on the beach, like Barra de Tijuca. The opening is impactful and a 10 for the scent. It’s super unisex; my wife and I each have a bottle. Longevity is short, one or two hours, but it lingers longer on clothes; it lasts longer on her than on me. Only recommend if you catch it at 50% off with interest-free installments.
Smells like cleaned orange and tea with mint, super clean thanks to that musk and vetiver. It lasts about 6 hours, projects well, and is perfect for daily wear if you use unscented moisturizer beforehand. The price is high, but it’s worth it for parties when on sale; it’s youthful, unisex, and reminds me of CK 2019. Perfect for spring and summer if you like fresh citrus.
Summery and delicious, the mix of orange, mint, and tea sounds like a freshly served cocktail on the beach, like Barra de Tijuca. The opening is impactful and for me it’s a 10. It’s totally unisex; my wife and I each have a bottle. The longevity is short, one or two hours, but it lasts longer on clothes; it lasts and projects more on her than on me. I only recommend buying it if it’s on a 50% promotion with interest-free installments, like it is this time of year.
It smells like super-clean orange soda, with a touch of tea and mint that makes it feel like a fresh infusion; the musk and vetiver give it a clean feel. It lasts about 6 hours and projects well, ideal for daily use if you apply an unscented moisturizer first. The price is high, but I bought the party deal and it’s worth it. It’s youthful, unisex, and reminds me of CK 2019; recommended for spring and summer if you like fresh citrus.
Very good, ideal for spring and summer. Fresh fruity unisex fragrance: tangerine, mint, and tea, just like their notes say. Simple and rich, it relaxes me and is light. I use it for the gym and casual days. It brought me an unforgettable compliment, which is why I love it; since it’s a 2022 summer scent, it’s rare to see. I’d buy it again. 8/10
Very good, ideal for spring and summer. Fresh fruity fragrance: tangerine, mint, and tea, just as they say. It’s simple, rich, relaxing, and light. I wear it for the gym and casual daytime outings. I got an unforgettable compliment because of it, which is why I love it. Being a 2022 summer release, it’s rarely seen. I’d buy it again. 8/10.
I don’t know much about perfumes, but this is one of my summer favorites. It smells like orange and mint, super refreshing and clean, like those Vitamin C orange tablets. I wear it in summer for work or the beach. In the heat, it invites you to smell it and is truly energizing. The downside is that, like most CK stuff, it lasts a breath and projects nothing. It’s more for feeling fresh and clean in the heat on a personal level. 7/10.
Smells like Fruna orange ice cream. It’s not a bad fragrance, but I don’t feel like walking around smelling like an ice cream with legs.
My sister gave it to me because she says it gets a weird aftertaste with her cigarette smoke, but I absolutely love it. It smells like orange peel, those dwarf oranges that are pure skin. Then it refreshes with tea and mint, like a summer iced tea with slices and ice. In the end, after hours, it smells like Calvin Klein: fresh, dry, and unisex. I say it goes all year because there’s always a moment to smell clean and fresh; where I live, we barely drop below 18°C, and 16°C is already too cold. I like it, the bottle is pretty and smells good… Longevity: about 4 hours on my skin. If you like fresh citrus, herbal, and summer scents, you might like it!
My sister gifted this to me, though she says the tobacco note feels weird on her. It caught me off guard: it smells like blood orange, super citrusy. Then it refreshes with tea and mint, like a summer iced tea with slices and ice. Later, the base is very CK: fresh, dry, and unisex. There’s always a time for a clean scent, and since I live where temps never drop below 18°C, I wear it year-round. The bottle looks great, smells good, but lasts about 4 hours. If you love fresh citrus and herbal scents, you might adore this.
It’s my first CK flanker, and buying blind was a total win. Since it’s hard to find here, I grabbed two bottles. If you’re looking for more longevity and intensity, let it macerate for a bit; the difference is noticeable immediately.
