  I’m surprised we don’t talk about this more; it’s not for everyone, but it’s one of the best musks I’ve tried. Surrounded by a curious chemical vibe and light floral and woody notes, it creates something very versatile and original. It’s unisex, though it leans feminine, and I absolutely love it. A bit overshadowed by Nasomatto’s big hits, but it’s definitely worth a try.

It has a curious chemical sensation with floral and woody notes, creating something very versatile and original. It’s unisex, though it leans feminine; I absolutely love it. A bit overshadowed by Nasomatto’s big hits, but it’s well worth trying.

  It’s a powder dominated by white musk, perhaps with other musks giving it a more animal than floral touch. Very intense at first, but it changes quite a bit as it dries, sometimes sticking to the skin and becoming almost imperceptible. I’m fascinated by the scent, not so much by the performance. It’s made for women, but an experienced niche guy would enjoy it too. I wouldn’t buy it for the performance.

An elegant decay, like peeling paint on walls; the floral musks subtly turn patchouli-like in the dampness, but the fruit hasn’t rotted yet. It’s exactly the second before it happens.

  Almond musk, with moderate sweetness and a hint of… cigarette? Oakmoss? It’s sweet, kind, and appropriate, but it has a sad quality that’s also very beautiful. Decadent, but not in an ostentatious way; it’s the decadence years after the showstopper, with peeling walls. You can almost feel how those floral musks subtly patchouli in the humidity. But the fungi haven’t yet stained the walls black, and this fruit hasn’t rotted. It’s just the second step before it happens.
