Tested it today at a perfume shop. The opening is original, like a twist on woody/spicy notes with cardamom. After a few minutes, I detect a note reminiscent of incense or exotic spices, but with a synthetic lab-like touch that doesn’t convince me; I feel the same way about Versace Eros Flame in its mid-notes. Online, they mention the synthetic ‘Pepperwood,’ and even though it’s not explicitly declared, that’s what it smells like here. I feel the industry overuses unoriginal synthetic scents. Still, if you like cardamom-woody fragrances, it’s a good option, but do a test first. The opening is rich and original, but watch out for how those spicy notes evolve. It’s worth trying. The longevity is quite good, nothing to complain about.
