My experience was a disaster. The opening is chaotic with clashing scents; minutes later, melon dominates (which I don’t like this way), with barely any pineapple and watery notes. The melon persists with juniper, nothing pleasant, and by the end of the day only the juniper and maybe the musk remain. I’ve never enjoyed a balanced fruity opening, and this ended up being a dry fragrance that failed to achieve harmony among so many ingredients.
For heat, it opens well with juicy pineapple, green apple, and grapefruit, blended with marine notes, pink pepper, and Mexican lime. It’s fresh and citrusy at first, though some smell it differently. As Avalon1224 says, the top notes compete without harmony. After a few minutes, juniper, fir, and basil with melon and a touch of savory herb come through. As it matures, leather, cedar, and moss stand out, plus a shy sandalwood. It’s masculine, not bad, but it’s not for me.
