AquaFlore and Gucci Envy were my favorite green florals of all time. I almost can’t remember how they smelled, and that hurts me. The opening and heart were spectacular, with balanced fruits, lily of the valley, and iris root. They left a dry, bitter, icy sensation of pure flowers, something I haven’t found since. I wish they would reissue it; for me, it was the best from the house, and I don’t understand how the purge removes things like this to launch such flat perfumes. Their longevity and sillage were worth that era.
This is one of the richest perfumes I’ve ever owned, I adore it alongside Diorissimo. It’s exquisite, long-lasting, and adorable. The notes I notice most are violet and peach, which give way quickly to jasmine, valley lily, and the persistence I believe comes from musk and lily root. It’s an ageless classic, yet I feel very youthful and fresh wearing it.
