Good evening, what a fantastic perfume. Although I know it’s marketed for women, I honestly never get tired of smelling it and I wear it on special occasions. It is true, however, that I see it as a real shame they are pulling this fragrance from the market, especially since there’s no way to find it anymore. If there were an option to buy it, I would, because I have a bottle at home and I occasionally take off the metal cap and sniff it until I’m satisfied, which is rare because it’s a penetrating and intoxicating scent that doesn’t become overwhelming—that’s very good. I agree with you, and honestly, as a man, having a perfume that makes a woman walking by or greeting you ask about what you’re wearing is something to take your hat off to those professionals who invented it. Well, I won’t go on further and send a cordial greeting from Seville. And to anyone who can complain, please complain about why they are removing such a good fragrance from the market when we have thousands of them in perfumeries, what a mess. Cordial greetings.

I had read about this fragrance but never imagined it would be this good; it’s my first L’Occitane perfume and it does not disappoint. It’s a very good gourmand and quite potent. It opens with a vanilla aroma with a clean tone, not soapy—perhaps the labdanum gives it that cleanliness. Soon, a sweet, foamy cream enters, very pleasant and warm, before moving into its final dry-down, which is very similar to Dior Homme Intense. Its dry-down is a delicious powdered amber-chocolate, not cloying, very pleasant, and lasts a long time. I think it can work in autumn-winter but also in spring if you don’t overapply. The bottle is beautiful, keeping the style of the past and it feels a bit heavy. I recommend this fragrance for people who like alcoholic gourmand scents.

What a wonderful perfume, please…! I opened it yesterday. The salesperson told me it’s the ‘reformulation’ of the old Ambré, which is no longer available, and that they brought it back to celebrate L’Occitane’s 40th anniversary, which they hit in 2016. Powerful opening, ambered, slightly sweet, woody, and balsamic. Incredible longevity. It works better for night and cold weather. Let’s hope they don’t discontinue it again. I truly found a gem. All L’Occitane en Provence products are excellent quality, though quite pricey. But they’re worth it.
I’ve been searching for a Neonatura clone for years, and this is amazing. Unmatched longevity, great projection. It’s divine, warm, and spacious. It gives me a tremendous sense of calm.
I bought it recently and have to say, I’m not usually into sweet scents, especially ones marketed for both genders, haha. The point is, I like its development; it’s quite subtle, though it smells like something I can’t quite identify. Anyway, I love it. I think an iconic L’Occitane fragrance cost me a pretty penny here in Honduras, around 2,000 lempiras. I’m happy with the purchase because the bottle is refillable, so I can buy more when I run out.
I picked this up because I felt I needed it. It’s equal to, or almost identical to, that Kiehl’s Vanilla & Cedar scent that’s been around forever. It’s not an overpowering oriental, but rather very pleasant. What stands out most is a natural, dark vanilla without being cloying. Totally unisex.
