Bought it blind after testing the EDP and failing on my skin, but this extract is in a completely different league. Two sprays and it lasts over 12 hours, clinging to clothes so you’re still smelling it the next day. It smells pure, alcohol-free, basically like osmanthus: imagine peach and apricot but in a yellow flower type of way, like ylang-ylang. It’s a must-have, it beats the EDP by far.

No one has written about this gem; it’s a work of art. Until now I didn’t know osmanthus, and now it’s my favorite note. Perris Monte Carlo is always soft, nothing overpowering, but it’s noticeable and lasts about 10 hours with a charming halo. If you like it, you’ll enjoy it all day; if not, you’ll have to wash well because it sticks. It’s unisex: I wear it and love it, my wife looks amazing in it, and I can’t help but lean in to her neck. I use it at the office, parties, or whenever I feel like it, regardless of the temperature. It gives me a unique sense of well-being. It’s more long-lasting than the EDP but smells the same, just more intense. Absolutely a work of art of the utmost simplicity. EDIT: osmanthus smells like ripe peaches and apricots (Andalusian damsons) in summer, but finer.
