The scent was composed by perfumer Ammar Nsaif, who built a structure that moves from peppery brightness to a rich, resinous heart and a soft woody-leather base.
69 opens with black pepper and pink pepper, along with elemi, a resin that gives the top a fresh, almost citrusy lift. The peppery start is sparkling and energetic, but not harsh, setting the stage for deeper notes.
In the heart, olibanum incense and saffron take over. The effect is warm and contemplative, with the saffron adding a subtle metallic shimmer and the incense providing a smooth, ceremonial depth. This is the core of the fragrance, and it feels both intimate and expansive.
