The opening is potent, but it softens over time as the sweetness of patchouli and suede emerges; give it time to truly appreciate it. I recommend it for mature women who want to stand out and be original, as it might be too strong and intimidating for a teenager.

  I hunted down this hidden gem until I got it at a good price. As CYNTHIA1980 says, it’s totally unisex. It starts with boozy raspberry (reminds me of Guerlain Black Perfecto) with an earthy touch from patchouli, and the suede in the background makes it sober and elegant. It’s cheap but smells like an expensive perfume, with good projection and longevity. I’ve loved it so much.

  Given its notes, I shouldn’t like it, especially the leather, and yet I love it. It has a liquorish opening with sweet raspberry that dries down into something dry, very woody, with a fine and predominant leather. Accompanied by earthy patchouli, incense, cedar, and a light musk. The raspberry and liquor linger but lower in volume. It results in a warm and mysterious scent. On my skin, this mix of dry and sweet is curious and addictive. My partner loves it. It’s unisex, better for me in winter. The trail is moderate and lasts 8-9 hours. It’s not safe to buy blindly nor perfect for gifting, although it has incredible quality and price, because I don’t think everyone will like it. But it’s an affordable jewel worth trying and adding to the collection. Scent 7.5/10 Longevity 8.5/10 Sillage 7/10 Value 9/10 Versatility 7.5/10 Packaging 7/10 Would I buy again? Absolutely.

  I absolutely love it. At first, I found it a bit heavy, perhaps due to that liquor note, but after letting it settle for a couple of months and giving it the second chance every unique perfume deserves, it completely hypnotized me. It’s genuinely warm and clean at the same time; I adore its musk, which is present from the very first moment. On my skin, I don’t limit it to a specific season—I happily wear it all year round.

  I love it! At first, it felt a bit heavy due to the liquor note, but after giving it a break and a second chance, it hypnotized me 💕. It’s warm and clean at the same time, and I adore its musk that’s present from the very first second. On my skin, it’s one-of-a-kind 🤣🤣. I don’t categorize it by season; I’m happy to wear it all year round.

  Wow, what an amazing and underrated perfume! I loved it. I thought based on the notes it would be strong or a sweet woody scent on my skin, but it’s not, and I’ve loved it so much. I agree with all the reviews, especially Taurien’s.

  What joy to find it by chance! Blessed neighborhood perfumeries that still exist. I tried it on the tester without even smelling it first, but I took it home. Among the many flankers of 5th, Royale is the one that deviates the most from the original. It will go unnoticed by hardcore fans, and for those who don’t like the line, don’t even think about it. Ultimately, it’s mature raspberry, leather, and musk, all very subtle, almost too much for me. It smells close to the skin, but it’s a great option if you’re looking for a feminine leather scent that doesn’t overwhelm. Ideal for autumn or daily wear.

  How happy I was to stumble upon it by chance! Blessed neighborhood perfumeries that still resist the invasion of franchises. They let me try it on the tester without me even asking, contradictory, right? I ended up buying it anyway. Among the thousand 5th flankers, Royale is the one that strays the most from the original. I understand it will pass unnoticed among regular users of the 5th family, and for those who aren’t huge fans of the line or haven’t considered trying it. Ripe raspberry with leather and musk—that’s the final result, but everything is very subtle, almost too much for my taste. It stays close to the skin, otherwise… well. A great option if you’re looking for a ‘feminine’ leather scent that doesn’t overwhelm. I see it as very appropriate for autumn as a transition and for daily wear.

  I picked it up for the price and recommendations. I wasn’t brave enough to wear it in the heat, but when the late summer coolness arrived, I used it for a night date. At first, it smells intensely of raspberry, liquor, and patchouli, but as it dries down, the leather and suede emerge, creating a curious and acidic balance. It doesn’t fit current trends, so don’t buy it blindly, but if you want to enjoy it at night when the weather permits, it’s top tier.

  It was my signature scent for years until they stopped selling it. What a shame, because it’s an absolute beast of a perfume and I miss it so much 😩
