After years, I finally wrote this. I picked it up at a great price in a downtown Buenos Aires perfumery, about $40 less than the classic 212 Heroes. What a surprise! It seems CH finally upgraded the fragrance in this ‘Collectors Edition’ that was heavily criticized for being too soft and short-lived. They added a sweeter touch with more pear, a bit more leather, and woods, giving this ‘for young people’ perfume the punch it needed. I’m 38, so yeah, haha. Obviously, a perfume ‘for young people’ doesn’t have to be soft, because youth is also about energy and strength, and that’s exactly what 212 Heroes needed. Verdict: here is the 212 Heroes Collectors Edition, the boosted version of 212 Heroes.

Grabbed it for the price and it totally won me over. Smells innocent and easy to wear. The hemp note takes the lead; it doesn’t bother or feel heavy, it’s distinct. It smells like a plant, not tobacco, giving off a fresh, green vibe. The leather and wood base adds depth and finishes it off well. Longevity is moderate, but the projection and sillage are great, making it ideal as a signature scent for summer or spring. SMELL: 9/10 PERFORMANCE: 7/10 SILLAGE: 8/10 PROJECTION: 8/10
