Rituals perfumes have been an incredible discovery. I grabbed them on sale and they’ve turned out to be fantastic and addictive; I can’t stop using them lately. I tried this Nuit d’Azar, marketed as a men’s scent, on recommendation and it’s pure unisex. It’s elegant, deep, and enveloping—a perfect blend of cranberry, sage, and vetiver. As Fragrantica mentions, I also detect some ambroxan even though it’s not listed. It works perfectly in any season, though I think it will shine brightest in spring-summer. I see it as both day and night wear, very versatile, perhaps better for formal events than the office. Although I was skeptical about longevity based on previous comments, this lasts a long time on skin, around 10-11 hours. It projects strongly for the first hour, then settles to a moderate but noticeable sillage, not skin-scented, which I appreciate. I bought the travel size (15 ml), ideal for testing for under 15 euros or carrying in my toiletry bag, but I’ll definitely repurchase the full bottle. A magnificent entry into their perfumery. Scent 8.5/10, Longevity 9/10, Sillage 8/10, Value 8/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 10/10. Would I buy again? Yes.

Smells great and is highly enjoyable. It has good longevity, moderate-to-high sillage, and excellent value for money. Two or three sprays are more than enough. It reminds me a lot of Loewe 7 Cobalt, even though incense isn’t listed. The downside is the ambroxan: although not listed, it kicks in shortly after spraying and, for me, it detracts from what could have been a perfect ten.

This perfume hits with unique power and character. At first, it smells like a barrel overflowing with ripe black grapes ready for liquor; that initial alcohol hit is brutal and masks a woody base you can already sense. Then the alcohol settles, revealing a warm, woody scent with a soft floral touch, keeping that intriguing finish. It’s intimate, elegant, and shrouded in a hard-to-define mystery, like early autumn with a fresh breeze and warm tones. I’m hooked, though I’m not sure exactly where it fits; it has its own personality without needing any context. It projects strongly at first, then calms down in both projection and longevity.
