What a great surprise! A non-traditional fougère, totally modern and delicious. A hidden gem at a laughable price. In my opinion, it has a nice unisex vibe.
Back in the summer of ’96, I had a few options, but I went with Versace Dreamer. One of the contenders was a Carrera, which was super trendy and affordable at the time. I’m not sure if it was this Original, because it smells a bit 80s to me. But I do remember it was a powerhouse of fresh spices with serious punch—something Victor & Rolf would kill for. It’s a fascinating brand that deserves more recognition today and is now incredibly hard to find.
