Autumn 26: Ffern's Herbal Take on Fall
Autumn 26 by Ffern is an aromatic fougere fragrance for women and men. Released in 2026, it was composed by perfumer Elodie Durande.
It puts herbal lavender at the center, framed by woody, green and earthy facets and softened with hay, orris and oakmoss.
The opening blends lavender, fennel, coriander and Calabrian bergamot. It feels fresh and aromatic, with an anise-like edge from fennel, spice from coriander and citrus lift from bergamot.
The heart brings together immortelle, cypriol (nagarmotha), scented geranium, May rose, ho wood, scented broom and jasmine. The result is a layered herbal floral, green and faintly honeyed with dry woody touches.
The base combines violet leaves, hay, orris root, tonka bean, oakmoss, Siam benzoin and Virginia cedar. Hay and orris give a dry, powdery feel, while tonka and benzoin add balsamic sweetness.
Overall it reflects herbal, woody, lavender, sweet, earthy and aromatic accords, backed by warm spicy, green, iris and fresh spicy nuances. Lavender works as a thread running through the composition.
As a modern unisex fougere, Autumn 26 pictures fall through dry grass, wood and soil, keeping the clean aromatic lift typical of the family.
