It skips bright, sugary vanilla and goes darker instead, layering roasted depth over warm resin before settling into a soft, caramel-like sweetness.
The opening pairs tobacco with coffee and cocoa pod. It smells roasted and dry, like ground beans and cured leaf, so the sweetness stays in check at first.
The heart centers on Lava and Ember, imaginative accords that suggest molten heat and glowing coals. Around them, Tolu balsam and labdanum add thick resin, while orris root brings a smooth, powdery polish.
In the base, vanilla takes over, wrapped in caramel. Suede softens the blend to a velvety touch, and patchouli adds an earthy anchor that extends wear.
