About Witch Extrait
Witch Extrait Is a Fresh, Mossy Unisex Scent from JMP Artisan Perfumes
Witch Extrait is a new aromatic green fragrance from JMP Artisan Perfumes. Created for both men and women, it launched in 2026 and marks a distinctly natural, mysterious direction for the house.
The perfume is composed by perfumer Jakub Pietrynka. It plays with crisp top notes, an herbal, mineral heart, and a soft, earthy base that gives the composition a spellbinding edge.
The opening pairs blackcurrant, angelica, petitgrain, and mint. That mix feels bright and slightly tart: blackcurrant brings a fruity bite, petitgrain delivers a bitter orange-leaf nuance, and mint keeps everything just cool enough.
At the center, Witch Extrait turns deeper. Green notes are joined by rose oxide, clary sage, and rhubarb. Rose oxide contributes a metallic, almost watery shimmer; clary sage adds a touch of herbal warmth; rhubarb keeps the composition lively and subtly sour.
The base is anchored by oakmoss, white musk, and amber. This is where the perfume becomes more intimate and powdery, with oakmoss supplying an earthy, forest-floor quality and white musk smoothing out the edges. Amber lends a faint resinous glow.
Throughout the wear, the fragrance stays true to its green-aromatic character. There are also fruity, musky, ambery, and softly spicy undertones. It never becomes loud or candy-sweet, and it avoids the bright citrus route that many green scents take.
The result feels modern in execution but classic in its reliance on a rich mossy drydown. It’s understated without being shy, which makes it easy to wear across seasons, especially in spring and fall.
Anyone who loves green, aromatic fragrances with an earthy core will appreciate Witch Extrait. It works for men and women, and it’s especially suited to those who prefer niche-style scents over mainstream freshness.
Witch Extrait is an intriguing new release from JMP Artisan Perfumes. With an average score of 3.85 out of 5 based on 13 ratings, it’s a confident, quietly mysterious extrait for fans of mossy green perfumery.
