Aria di Mare is an aquatic-floral fragrance with a metallic note very similar to Laine de Verre. It makes me feel like I’m on a boat, with waves splashing against my face as the bow cuts through the water. Unlike Lutens, this is much finer and more natural, perhaps due to that white floral touch that makes it feminine, cheerful, and easy to wear. The musky dry down leaves a soft, cotton-like trail that’s very comfortable. The longevity is good and the projection is spot-on, making it a great fresh option for summer. Rating: 7.5
