I love green scents, so when I finally got my hands on Coriandre, I was absolutely thrilled. It smells like grass—it’s peculiar yet easy to wear, reminding me a bit of Aromatics Elixir. It opens strong, bitter, and sharp, like a classic chypre, but the bergamot softens it quickly. It’s cool, fresh, and striking thanks to the aldehydes and angelica, which is a top note. The coriander fades into the background, becoming soapy and delicate, while the flowers and oakmoss round everything out. In the dry down, it’s woody and musky, evoking that feeling of cooking herbs in an ethnic market that never fades. It’s refined, light, and a timeless classic—a gem worth discovering today.

Coriandre is gorgeous; I have a bottle from a friend, and it reminds me a lot of the classic Miss Dior, so it’s a total hit for me. I love that perfect balance between the fresh, spicy opening of coriander and the aldehydes, paired with a powdery heart of iris and violet over a very well-rounded moss. A perfect equilibrium.

  3. It has a unique and particular scent; more than a perfume, it feels like an excellent cologne. Everything blends to create a new fragrance. It’s timeless, fresh to the point of freezing, with spicy, woody notes and a soft floral touch. I absolutely loved it. I’d wear it anytime, day or night.

  4. It smells very particular and unique. More than a perfume, it feels like a cologne, but a very good one. Everything blends together to create a new scent. It’s timeless, very fresh, almost cold like ice, spicy, woody, and with a soft floral touch. I’ve loved it so much. I’d wear it any time of day or night.

It’s an essence that evokes a memory for me, and nowadays I use it more. It’s a woman who pleases when she feels secure with a marked perfume, never sweet. It smells like nature and 70s aldehydes, like Calandre, and it’s one of those gems that remind us of those times when confident and seductive women perfumed themselves this way. Long live vintage; everything comes back, and here we have a gem from the past that we can still wear.

Smells incredible and, as mentioned before, it’s very well described. I just want to note that it’s likely been reformulated because the sillage is minimal, which is a shame. It’s a chypre with a revitalizing effect that leaves you breathless.

It smells magnificently and is very well described in the previous reviews, so I’ll just say that it was surely reformulated because the trail is minimal. What a pity, because it’s a chypre of those that give you energy just by smelling it.

  8. Coriandre is for the delicate scent of rose, which here feels powdery. It’s subtle, and the musk gives it an enveloping cloud, beautiful like the petals of Otto rose, but that’s just the surface. Beneath that lie other details: the aldehydes and coriander give it personality and character, making it very attractive to the nose. The woods, like patchouli, add a masculine and earthy touch, reaching the roots of the plant, but not aggressively, rather softly and sensually, as if it were undressing in a sexy way. It has a retro dry-down that makes it very attractive and refined, like an improved version of L’Ombre dans L’Eau by Diptyque. Rating: 7.

  9. Coriandre is a tribute to dusty rose, delicate and subtle. The musk creates an enveloping cloud, beautiful like the petals of Rosa Otto, but only superficially. Beneath that layer, coriander and aldehydes give it personality and character, making it magnetically attractive. The woods, like patchouli, add a masculine and earthy touch that takes us down to the plant’s roots, yet softly and sensually thanks to the civet, as if it’s stripping down in a sexy, bold way. The drydown has a retro nuance that makes it very refined, an improved version of L’Ombre dans l’Eau by Diptyque. Rating: 7

  10. Coriandre is fresh, woody, musky, green, and powdery. Although it smells spicy as its name suggests, to me it’s less coriander and more patchouli and geranium. An intense but very fresh geranium, and as a contrast, a light touch of old, classic, elegant, and sophisticated dry red rose, very ‘couturier’. It has that dry, earthy, rough freshness of classy vintage chypres, which reminds me a lot of Miss Dior or Balmain by Balmain. Probably that’s why many call it ‘masculine’ today. I see on Fragrantica that people wear it during the day, but I think despite its freshness, it’s more sensual and mysterious, more for the night. This freshness doesn’t invite you to move around, but to explore dark, intimate, or nightlife territories. Not in vain, the 70s ads said it had ‘all the aromas of dusk and already the freshness of the night’. Even though it’s so fresh, it has a strange warmth and an intense woody tone, like a hug on a wet porch of a forest house, under a night breeze bringing the scent of moss, wet earth, and red geraniums soaked in rain. Revitalizing and nostalgic.
