Tropical, exotic, and addictive. The quality is evident the moment you spray it: it leaves a slight oily sheen on the skin and lasts forever, a true beast mode. Despite being heavy, it doesn’t overpower. My best find of 2025. Nothing like Oud Maracuyá; it has its own distinct essence. As the creator says, it smells like a European city in the 1920s, à la Peaky Blinders, stepping into a speakeasy: exotic, smoky, and sexy.

Coreterno Hardkor… about 85% similar to Tom Ford Ombre Leather in the opening and first hour. I don’t see any resemblance to MC’s Oud Maracuyá; let’s hope it diverges as it dries down; otherwise, if you already own Tom Ford, this isn’t worth it. That said, the ingredients are of very high quality and it doesn’t smell like an Arab clone.

There’s a niche trend obsessed with mismatched exotic fruits: oud and banana, mango and milk, watermelon and metal. Today it’s leather and passion fruit. Coreterno Hardkor is original and smells amazing. It blends the leather/tar of Ombre Leather with the dry, dusty vibe of Tuscan Leather. A great combo featuring an acidic passion fruit, a soft mango pulp sweetness, green currant acidity, and grapefruit astringency. It’s a realistic, acidic fruit experience with calming sweetness. It unites dirty, mechanical leather with discreet elegance. The oud is imperceptible, and the dry down features dark patchouli and warm amber. Curious, it projects roughness and exotic elegance, sensual yet raw. Moderate performance, which I appreciate; it’s refined because it’s subtle. Recommended for leather lovers. It doesn’t resemble Oud Maracuyá and smells of superior quality.

This is bonkers. For those not from Spain, it’s what the scruffy, tormented but good-hearted protagonist of a movie would wear. James Dean in ‘Rebel Without a Cause’ or Mel Gibson in ‘Mad Max.’ Also on women like Sarah Connor, Jessica Jones, Elvira, or Elle Driver from ‘Kill Bill.’ Hardkor suggests rock, leather chokers, interesting faces, cigarettes, and bourbon. The main leather note is rough, slightly smoky, and animalic, but not dirty. It has a sweet, tropical fruity facet in the opening and first half-hour. The floral notes aren’t distinctly perceived. High performance, lasting hours on skin, perpetual on clothes, and insane projection. The quality-to-price ratio is unbeatable. For those comparing it to Oud Maracuyá, in my opinion, it kicks its ass.
