Laure Breysse

Born in Aix-en-Provence, in the south of France, Laure Breysse has pleasant childhood memories of summers spent running across aromatic hills of wild rosemary, thyme, and everlastings. Her father worked in the cosmetics industry, which sparked her passion for perfume at an early age. Growing up on the outskirts of Paris, Laure discovered her second passion at seven years old: competitive riding. Years of training refined Laure’s balance of determination, focus, and passion. Driven by her passion for fragrances, Laure’s decisive and optimistic nature led her to pursue her calling as a perfumer. She completed her master’s degree at ISIPCA in 2013. In 2014, she joined the Symrise Perfumery School in Holzminden. Her thirst for new cultural experiences led her to a technical perfumery position at Symrise Brazil, where she spent three years immersed in the vitality and dynamic way of life of Latin American culture. Always looking to the future, Laure fulfilled her dream of living in New York and joined the Symrise Fine Fragrance team in 2022 as Creative Perfumist. She draws inspiration from her travels around the world, bottling emotions and moments in time that are artistically balanced with precision and creativity. 2005 - DECIDES TO PURSUE A CAREER AS A PERFUMER 2013 - COMPLETES HER TRAINING AT ISIPCA 2014 - ENTERS THE SYMRISE PERfumery SCHOOL IN GERMANY 2019 - JOINS SYMRISE BRAZIL AS A TECHNICAL PERFUMER 2022 - BECOMES A PERFUMER AT THE SYMRISE CREATIVE CENTER IN NEW YORK
