Ketrin Leka is an experienced perfumer and the current Director of Fragrance Development at French Color & Fragrance, a company based in Englewood, New Jersey. She has more than 17 years of experience in the fragrance industry, having worked for some of the most important names in the sector, including Robertet Group and Unilever HPC.
Ketrin began her career as a Formulation Scientist at Unilever HPC – Lab Resources in Edgewater, NJ, where she developed new formulations for liquid detergents and ensured physical stability, paying attention to both the aesthetics and product performance. After that, she worked at Belmay INC. in Yonkers, NY, as an Applications Technician, where she was responsible for formulating all home personal care products, such as lotions, shampoos, and ointments.
After gaining valuable experience in these roles, Ketrin moved into the fragrance industry, working as a Perfumer at Robertet Group for more than 13 years. During this time, she honed her skills and knowledge in fragrance development, creating unique and innovative fragrances for a wide range of clients. She later joined French Color & Fragrance as a Senior Creative Perfumer, where she continued developing fragrances and eventually became the Director of Fragrance Development.
Ketrin holds a degree in Chemistry from Fordham University and has completed several certification courses in perfumery and fragrance development at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. She has also completed a certification course in Sensory Evaluation at The Center for Professional Advancement.
