To achieve his dream of becoming a perfumer, Isaac didn’t hesitate to cross the globe. Born in New Zealand, he grew up with the scent of the forest, of leaves. He nurtures his creativity through a multifaceted approach, finding inspiration that flows between two of his other passions. Producing a premium gin locally with four friends, he creates the gin recipes almost like fragrances—experimenting with botanicals and flavor profiles to create unique and innovative expressions. Guitarist and singer in a band, his musical adventures lead him to perceive millions of common points between music and perfume, as he likes to say. After 13 years living in São Paulo, Isaac moves to Paris, an inspiring change of scenery. He continues to compose fragrances with an insatiable creative spirit and a strong sense of precision, always emphasizing the connection between his means of expression.

1999 – MEETS THE FRAGRANCES EXPERT MICHAEL EDWARDS IN AUCKLAND

2001 – BEGINS HIS TRAINING TO BECOME A PERFUMER AT DRAGOCO (NOW SYMRISE) IN PARIS

2004 – BECOMES PERFUMER ASSISTANT TO MAURICE ROUCEL

2011 – APPOINTED PERFUMER

2019 – JOINS SYMRISE’S CREATION CENTER IN BRAZIL

2023 – INTEGRATES INTO SYMRISE IN PARIS
