Daniel Barros
Graduated in International Relations, with a professional background across Europe, Asia, and North America, Daniel Barros chose to redirect his career toward the world of fragrances—a passion cultivated since childhood—and in 2013 founded the olfactory consultancy Ego In Vitro.
Starting in 2015, he began his path as a fragrance creator and collaborator for L’Officiel magazine and the website Fragrantica. In 2021, he consolidated his reviews and publications in the 1001 Perfumes guide, available in both Portuguese and English.
A member of the organizing committee for ScentXplore, an international niche perfumery event held annually in New York, Daniel has been part of the SCENTEC Fragrances team since 2025, where he works as an olfactory designer and global accounts manager.
