Antoine Cotton

Born in Grasse and raised in Cabris, surrounded by the enthusiasm of the region’s fragrance industry, Antoine grew up as a curious teenager eager to learn more. Through conversations, visits to laboratories, and fragrance explorations, two perfumers shared with him their sincere passion for their craft and convinced him to follow this path and this remarkable profession. This led him to study at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris. After many internships, Antoine was given the opportunity to take his first steps as a Junior Perfumer at Argeville in 2022, trained by senior perfumers. Guided by Roja Dove in a truly unique collaboration, he then refined his experience and mastered the key principles of high-end perfumery, before creating his first fragrances for the brand while continuing to expand his creative influence across several international houses. His inspirations come from many things. They can arise from everyday life or from more singular moments, such as travels, which he has loved since childhood. He likes discovering new places, hidden treasures, people, and cultures. His curiosity drives him to try new things, such as sampling exotic foods, attending unusual art exhibitions, or listening to conceptual artists. He finds balance in activities like tennis, which sharpens his competitive spirit, or playing the guitar, which lets him express himself freely. Antoine maintains a strong connection to nature and to the authenticity of natural materials. His travels, along with the time spent in the fields during harvests and in extraction laboratories, continuously deepen this connection and give deep meaning to his creative process. Antoine is driven by the desire to create bold, impactful fragrances that evoke deep feelings and emotions through a young, innovative, and contemporary approach—allowing him to explore diverse olfactory universes and associations.
