  Winter ’99 to forget… ➡️ The verdict: a woody-vanilla base dominated by a molasses accord, which is essentially thick, dark crystallized sugar. Nutmeg adds its touch, but everything revolves around this dominant molasses note over a sweet-woody background with a chalky texture. 🤔 At first, it smells burnt, and you can detect clove, but it’s not; it’s your brain trying to decipher that uncommon perfume accord. Linear, unisex-leaning-masculine, dense, and potent. Do I like it? No. Would I wear it? No. It has quality, but in my opinion, it’s more art than perfume; I appreciate that, though I’m not attracted to smelling like crystallized sugar (molasses). It’s very individual and shouldn’t kill your desire to try it. Some people don’t like incense, leather, or oud; that’s respectable. I love those scents, but I don’t like molasses—if you do, it’s the perfect perfume for you. 100 ml will last you a lifetime, and if you have kids, you’ll pass it down to them. You might get tired of it before you can pass it down; a 50 ml presentation would have been better. It’s for sampling or, if you really like it, buying milliliters. Interesting and artistic. It’s everything, and as the song by Sanz says: 🎶 “I appreciate it, but no” 🎶
