Smells like a mix of spirits, kind of like Branca Menta and/or Jägermeister.
There’s a lot to say, but if I had to pick just one, it’s this. I don’t own the Kobra, so I can’t compare directly, but it smells like geranium and incense, reminiscent of unripe green rose. I’m not sure if it’s a perfume or just an aroma. It transports me to my childhood: a convent garden on a full moon with a well in the middle, and you are the well. It radiates mysticism, deep and wild serenity, like a cobra in a waterfall—meditative, unhurried, dangerous, and lethal. Like a revelation from Buddha. It’s hard to explain, but it rates 10/10; I couldn’t stop smelling my own hand for 40 minutes. The bottle is nice, but the scent… if a primordial god had a perfume, it would be this.

It’s fantastic and lasts well, though it has low projection, which is great for not being intrusive. The incense is noticeable and might sound like a church to some, but I don’t mind; I picked it for that mystery and mysticism, like a stroll through Seville during Holy Week among the processions. It’s not for everyone, but if you’re fascinated by church incense, try it without buying blindly.

Batch 04/23 has arrived. The geranium takes the lead with a minty twist, the spice lingers in the background, and the incense is right there, very present. I absolutely love it; it’s super wearable and versatile, though not for hot weather. The geranium and incense create a perfect blend, neither overpowering the other except at the very start. Another sophisticated fragrance that adds character to my collection and stands out from the rest. I’m grateful for it. If you’re over forty, give it a try. To my nose, it’s worth more than its price tag.
