  A delicious fragrance that, despite not being listed in its notes, to me smells like the amber and vanilla scent of tobacco leaves, but a very soft, unisex tobacco. It reminds me of Herod by Parfums de Marly or Guess Seductive Noir. It feels more like a nighttime and winter scent, not very versatile, but very rich if you enjoy this type of aroma.

  A widely unisex perfume. While they don’t list it in the notes besides a deep amber, it seems to have very woody notes. It leans more toward masculine. It’s rich, with excellent projection and longevity. At first, you smell the fruity notes, rose, incense, and amber, but in the dry down, there’s an undeniable woody aroma. It’s not especially original, but rather impressive for its quality. It’s not overwhelming, but it’s persistent and you can definitely smell it around you.

  For me, the perfect blend of sweet and fruity, yet not cloying, saturated, or ordinary; nothing basic. It’s like the ideal fusion of fruity and ambered incense, with very subtle and elegant floral notes. Even when dry, hours after applying it to my skin, I still detect some wood. I don’t understand why it’s categorized as feminine because to me, it’s the perfect unisex fragrance, an exquisite niche. Projection and longevity are TOP, as always with Montale.

  I was looking for something fruity and fresh, and it starts exactly like that, but soon it takes a different turn, so I ended up discarding it. Still, it’s a very good perfume, and I fully agree that the base has a touch of Herod, as ICL mentions below, just a bit softer thanks to the musk I also detect. Totally unisex and very evolving; it fades quickly to the base, but that base is absolutely delicious: a soft, very daytime Herod, plus extremely versatile. 100% recommended.
